First, she’s referring to the House as Congress, when both the House and Senate make up Congress (one of my pet peeves from people who should know better), so it reads like an offhanded remark. Now, forward to the present and she REFUSES to do the right thing, the CONSTITUTIONAL thing and is instead doing the political thing. That is the bottom line of what I keep ranting about here. In trying to protect her conservative Dems, she is risking losing all other Dems which is definitely a larger number! I.GET.MORE.ANGRY.EVERY.DAY. More discouraged and more frightened for our democracy.

MSNBC (with Alex Witt) just covered a quick press grab with Joe Biden at the Iowa Steak Fair (think it’s called) and he was hot. Check it out if you have the chance. He spoke to the issue of Ukraine, Hunter Biden, and trump. Said he never discussed Hunter’s business activities with him. Seemed to say all the right words and told the reporters to ask the right questions – about trump’s actions – not to get mired in the trump/giuliani diversionary stuff. His line was “I’m going to beat trump like a drum.”

In June 1973, only 19% were OK for impeaching Nixon. tRump does 10x what Nixon was accused of monthly. The Impeachment proceedings started in Feb of 1974. Impeachment is in the Constitution. If the chronic lying bastard illegally occupying the White House is Not a candidate for impeachment, then This Republic & her Constitution=Rubbish.

I think I got that heading correct. Maybe not. Just read a discouraging article on FB saying SC Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is trying to let people down gently. She said there will be a lot of decisions coming out in this next month decided in a 5-4 party line vote including the census and other important topics. Sounds scary, discouraging and beyond hope. I would hate all of Trump’s underhanded ways with packing the Supreme Court to actually work for him. Creating a protective barrier force around himself is evident. My hope was Karma would prevail, especially since his lifetime of gifting and conning needed to come to an end.
I wonder if that means killing off the ACA too?

David Plouff has a podcast…i listened this morning..it was good…had me looking at the 2020 election in a different way…a more strategic way…he says that although he would like for our presidents to be elected by the popular vote…that is not how it is.. It is the Electoral College that votes for the president..so that we have to ever focused on getting 270 electoral votes
