Pennsylvania Legislature Just Passed A Bill Banning The Release Of Officers’ Names After A Shooting
Transparency and accountability in the law is necessary for Democracy to flourish…the Police are public servants…Accountability is essential to ensure justice under the law…this is a bad law…i hope that Governor Wolf vetoes it
Pf, I’m never surprised by any outrageous things the PA legislature does. We have GOT to overturn the Republican majority that’s killing this state. We worked hard to elect Governor Wolf and then the voters handicapped him with a nasty, uncooperative legislature. This nonsense has to end.
Honestly. I can’t WAIT until this damn madness is over with. If his supporters had ANY thinking skills, they would know this is utter BS.

I hope that there is a landslide to assure us and the world that we are not as messed up as much of this so-called election season implies. As for the GOP senators, current and former, who are afraid to stand up to the carnival barker because they fear his followers: the spineless punks built this ignorant and opportunistic wrecking crew for a generation and it has turned on them. Surprise, surprise (not). A steady diet of hatred of the other, lies, and disrespect for the very tools (their voters) that they have used to gain and to hold on to power at all cost, have brought the repubs. and the rest of us to this sorry point. The mad dogs have turned on the GOP establishment and they have no idea what to do, other than to kiss the ass of a person they despise or to cower in fear of retribution from the very powers that they unleashed. They only ones who can save them and the country is a woman that they have done everything to destroy and the very people that they set their dogs to. It reads like a Greek tragedy.
It’s going to be a wild, exhausting, infuriating week and we’re all going to have to keep going until we drop. Aside from campaigning, there are many meetings to attend in the days ahead, our big Salsa the vote rally to pull together for next Sunday, massive GOTV efforts and then Election Day, the only time Pa voters are allowed to cast their ballots. Hold on to your hats, everyone and keep your eyes on the goal. This is the Home Stretch.

Need to ask a favor please. Ken, our lead techie at our local Hillary headquarters, is an absolute sweetie who has led us all with class and humor these past few months. Today he must have eye surgery (actually 2 separate surgeries on the same day!!) to correct an eye muscle problem that has suddenly arisen for him. His surgery is scheduled for 2pm PST today, and may I ask the good people at TOD to keep him in their thoughts and prayers today for an easy surgery and a quick return to us for these last days of this remarkable campaign. Thanking you all in advance as I must get ready for my shift.

Here is what is making me crazy over this: after this exhaustive, ridiculous email witch hunt, one thing has been true for tens of thousands of emails: HRC nor anyone in her State Dept. gave classified information via email to anyone who was NOT authorized to see it. This, to me, is the damned point.
Comey knew this. There was no reason to assume that any classified information was given out to anyone not authorized to have it. Those findings alone should have made him err on the side of caution. He caved to GOP pressure.
Comey wants Trump to be POTUS? Now I’m REALLY terrified.

Thank you to all the HRC volunteers working hard for our next POTUS HRC. The stakes have never been higher that we must defeat the evil GOP machine and DT. These people are pure evil. I listen to NPR while I drive and try to turn off any news about the election. These people are so dishonest on their reporting as to what this whole Benghazi, emails, Clinton Foundation investigations are just made up to damage her. Yet the GOP has a candidate that has violated NYC law in his Foundation, his charities, relationship to the Russian hacking, lawsuits on rape charges of a child and groping women but crickets on this being a concern to the public. I am so sick and tired of this political race I can scream. We all know Nov 9th the fireworks will only continue unfortunately.
P.S. Has anyone heard from SUE? I have not seen her post for awhile. Hello SUE we miss you hope you are Ok.

Speaking of, I just heard a caller on TH Show. Could tell he was an older guy and undoubtedly white. He KEPT insisting over and over and over that HC had thirty years of criminal acts. Thom Hartman went through every single thing…….did not leave out anything from the time she was FL in AR to travel gate in the WH to her comment about not staying home and baking cookies to Vince Foster and on and on. Amazing that Thom remembered everything. He kept asking the man, “What crime? Give me one, just one.” The man always came back with the same comment and Thom repeated his question. That caller — perfect example of millions of people in this country and what the GOP and the media has done to this woman. It came close to making me nauseous. Makes me angry. Makes me sad. Makes me frustrated. Makes me ashamed of my fellow citizens.
SUE: She’s made a few comments this past week, but they have been few in number and maybe not even one a day. Hope she is okay. She does have some health issues.

A Mormon in UT?
Mormons spent $20M in ’08 to defeat Prop 8 in California.
It’s hard to believe that CA Prop 8 was only 8 years ago! (And I’m a Californian who voted on that initiative.)
The country’s shift in views on same sex marriage has been the fastest I’ve witnessed during my lifetime.
It’s definitely a generational swing (think Mormon Millennials would agree with McMullin on this, rather than share their parents/grandparents’ view:

I am listening to Randi Rhodes. She has an interesting take on the Comey thing. She thinks it is a trap for DT. She says the FBI does not want to taint the Russian/GOP/Maniford/Trump email hack because some people are going to prison. The trap is that with the way Comey came out with the Clinton emails and with Trump, GOP and the trumpsters praising him how they would look foolish going after the FBI after the Clinton emails turn out to be the nothing it is but the DT/Russian hacking is coming.
