GOPolitico: John Boehner has shown his weepy side once again … he welled up a few times during his commencement address at Ohio State University on Sunday.
What set off the waterworks this time? Boehner got emotional twice when he mentioned his parents and again when stressing the importance of gratitude.
….In a lighter moment, Boehner talked about his early days as an unknown politician with a troublesome last name.
“When you begin to go out there and ask people to vote for you, they’re probably not gonna vote for you if they can’t say your name,” he said. “You know, my name looks like Beener, Bonner, Boner.”
Then, to the delight of the crowd, he added: “Thank God it’s not Weiner.”
Boehner also cried when delivering Catholic University’s commencement address last month.

See you tomorrow.
Commercial Appeal: BTW students Cassandra Henderson and Christopher Dean accompanied President Obama for a surprise drop-in private chat with the assembled senior class, behind curtains away from the main ballroom arena. Principal Alisha Kiner tried to relax them with some knock-knock jokes and quips about seniors crying at graduation. The students were unaware Obama was going to join them before the commencement, and they erupted into cheers – and some sobs – when he walked out smiling……
….Another huge roar went up as he put down the microphone to mix with the students – most of them with “Honors” sashes. One girl was sobbing and Obama gave her a reassuring, sympathetic look, leaned down and put his hand on her neck to comfort her. Next to her another girl was crying, and Obama went down the row.
Then the students noticed the usually steely principal’s eyes watering up. “No, no,” she said. “You know, that’s just pollen.”

ABC: He did it again.
John Boehner was driven to tears again today. This time it happened at a closed-door meeting of House Republicans.
According to sources inside the meeting, it happened while Boehner was speaking to the group about the latest on his negotiations with Democrats over government funding .. in a rousing conclusion, he thanked the House Republicans for standing by him and supporting him through these tense negotiations.
The Republican conference responded with a standing ovation for their speaker.
As you could imagine, that prompted the Speaker to cry.
“Yes,” said one person at the meeting, “He cried, but only briefly.”
😥

I did it again, I ventured in to Teapublican territory on the interwebs just to see how they were reacting to yet more Boehner tears. They are not happy bunnies:
“Now I am envisioning him welling up and boo-hooing at this very moment in front of Reid and Obama. All they have to do is tell him how much they respect and admire him. They’ll have him down to one billion in cuts by eleven p.m.”
“God help us. We need someone with ice water in his veins, not mother’s milk.”
“Come on, GOP; dump this guy. He is an embarrassment.”
“C’mon man, enough with the damn crying.”
“Recall how obama threw him a bone during the SOTU message. He didn’t dry up for a day.”
“Oh Geez. Get a Grip, Boner!”
“OMG”
“john boohoo is not the man to lead us out of this disaster. He needs to step down – ASAP!”
“WTF? I understand crying once, say at a soldier’s memorial or something, but over every single thing?”
