I usually vote on election day because I like standing in line and trying to pick which person is going to screw up democracy by voting for the most unprepared candidate. But with this election I went and voted early so I could sit back on election night and enjoy the blue wave. And speaking of Elon Musk, this guy is a piece of work, am I right folks? This guy had the electric vehicle segment and outer space on lockdown, this guy was one white Persian cat and an underground city away from being the first real-life Bond villain. The Justice Department announced today its plans to monitor compliance with federal voting rights laws in 64 jurisdictions in 24 states for the Nov. 8, 2022 general election. Since the passage of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the Civil Rights Division has regularly monitored elections in the field in jurisdictions around the country to protect the rights of voters. The Civil Rights Division will also take complaints from the public nationwide regarding possible violations of the federal voting rights laws through its call center. The Civil Rights Division enforces the federal voting rights laws that protect the rights of all citizens to access the ballot.

Now if you remember back in 2020, some Republicans jumped to an early lead in the vote count. Remember the warnings about the “Red Mirage” or the “Blue Shift”?
Well why did that happen?
Because Democrats are more likely to vote early and by mail, and to use ballot Drop Boxes. While Republicans, fueled by Donald Trump’s conspiracy theories, have largely turned on mail-in voting and disproportionately prefer to vote in-person on Election Day.
So we can expect similar trends (today) in some key states, like PA, AZ, MI and GA.
These key states, they process the votes in different ways.
So here are the buckets of votes that you have to keep in mind when watching the results:
Early votes and the in-person votes, take for example PA;
the Republican legislature refuse to allow election officials to process mail-in votes until Election Day.
That means the state will have a million Early Votes just waiting to be processed till the polls close. Same thing in WI.
And NV absentee ballots cannot be processed until the polls close.
Now all of this is to say that there is a very real possibility that we will not know the outcome of some of these key races, including control of Congress (tonight).
As the votes come and the shift – the totals will shift too.
So America, breathe! Take a deep breath.
Settle in and just let the votes be counted.
Just because it takes a long time does not mean that something nefarious is happening. You will know the answer to who won the elections soon enough. So breathe!”

thing about twitter and email is so much misunderstanding and assumption, so then how do you fix it. At least email is deemed private unlike twitter.

“We are in the final stretch of this mid-term election
and there are a few things you need to keep in mind with just …hours until polls begin to close, OK?
Now if you remember back in 2020, some Republicans jumped to an early lead in the vote count. Remember the warnings about the “Red Mirage” or the “Blue Shift”?
Well why did that happen?
Because Democrats are more likely to vote early and by mail, and to use ballot Drop Boxes. While Republicans, fueled by Donald Trump’s conspiracy theories, have largely turned on mail-in voting and disproportionately prefer to vote in-person on Election Day.
So we can expect similar trends (today) in some key states, like PA, AZ, MI and GA.
These key states, they process the votes in different ways.
So here are the buckets of votes that you have to keep in mind when watching the results:
Early votes and the in-person votes, take for example PA;
the Republican legislature refuse to allow election officials to process mail-in votes until Election Day.
That means the state will have a million Early Votes just waiting to be processed till the polls close. Same thing in WI.
And NV absentee ballots cannot be processed until the polls close.
Now all of this is to say that there is a very real possibility that we will not know the outcome of some of these key races, including control of Congress (tonight).
As the votes come and the shift – the totals will shift too.
So America, breathe! Take a deep breath.
Settle in and just let the votes be counted.
Just because it takes a long time does not mean that something nefarious is happening. You will know the answer to who won the elections soon enough. So breathe!”
