Jan. 6 Was More Harrowing Than Mike Pence Ever Imagined

So when Trump got up to speak on January 6 he knew Pence would not do it.
He altered his remarks accordingly and as he was speaking on the Elipse, Proud Boys were already checking out the grounds of the Capitol.
Trump sent out a tweet at 1am to pressure Pence, whereupon his supporters surged and by loudspeaker threatened to kill the Vice President: “Hearing reports that Pence caved…”

Trump spoke to Pence on the morning of Jan 6th. He called Pence names after he said he wouldn’t go along with the scheme. Ivanka said she hadn’t heard a tone like that from her father towards Pence before.
So when Trump got up to speak on January 6 he knew Pence would not do it.
He altered his remarks accordingly and as he was speaking on the Elipse, Proud Boys were already checking out the grounds of the Capitol.
Trump sent out a tweet at 1am to pressure Pence, whereupon his supporters surged and by loudspeaker threatened to kill the Vice President: “Hearing reports that Pence caved…”
“We just heard Mike Pence is not going to reject any fraudulent votes.” “Bring out Pence! Hang Mike Pence!”
One woman said really it was expected, because Trump had mentioned it “about 5 times” in his speech.
