@PentagonPresSec John Kirby's emotional remarks today about "Putin's depravity" in Ukraine made me respect him more than I did yesterday, and that was the highest level. Leaders in the Biden Admin and within the Pentagon just keep proving their worth to the American people.
If a voter lives in one of the eight states that does not offer online voter registration or lives in a state that does, but does not have a driver’s license, then they must print, sign and mail or fax the voter registration form to their elections office.https://t.co/e5cRBpxeGd
We have a dozen forms of ID to vote and most of them are given for free by the govt. Individual states cannot make their rules for voting and voter ID’s.
Voter lists are updated every year by both central and state election commissions (which are constitutionally appointed and authorized independent completely neutral entities where even our supreme courts cannot interfere). There are four cut off dates in a year to register to vote so that more young voters who turn 18 year are eligible to vote. (previously, Jan 1st used to be the cut off date, and if you are born on Jan 2nd, then you had to wait for one whole year to register to vote. Now January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1 are cut off dates for every year to register so that waiting period is only 3 months max). And about a million polling stations (about one for every 1000 voters) and about 4 million voting machines (about one for every 250 voters). It’s a yuuge exercise.

One question: WHY is USA media lying to us about Joe Biden's poll ratings? To discourage us in 2024? What good is that going to do? We're still not about to allow another Republican president for a LONG time, if ever again. And how is insane, lying idiot Herschel Walker ahead?

Pelosi, Congressional Delegation Statement on Visit to Kyiv, Ukraine
MAY 1, 2022
Rzeszow, Poland – Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Members of a Congressional delegation issued this statement following their visit to Kyiv, Ukraine. This visit is the first official Congressional delegation to have visited Ukraine following Russia’s invasion. The full delegation, which includes Chairman Jim McGovern, Chairman Gregory Meeks, Chairman Adam Schiff, Congresswoman Barbara Lee, Congressman Bill Keating and Congressman Jason Crow, will continue travel in southeast Poland and Warsaw.
“Our Congressional Delegation had the solemn opportunity and extraordinary honor of meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other top Ukrainian officials in Kyiv.
“Our delegation traveled to Kyiv to send an unmistakable and resounding message to the entire world:
America stands firmly with Ukraine. Our meeting with President Zelenskyy began with him thanking the United States for the substantial assistance that we have provided. He conveyed the clear need for continued security, economic and humanitarian assistance from the United States to address the devastating human toll taken on the Ukrainian people by Putin’s diabolic invasion – and our delegation proudly delivered the message that additional American support is on the way, as we work to transform President Biden’s strong funding request into a legislative package. Our delegation conveyed our respect and gratitude to President Zelenskyy for his leadership and our admiration of the Ukrainian people for their courage in the fight against Russia’s oppression.
“Our delegation will now continue our travels in Poland, where we will meet with President Andrzej Duda and senior officials. We look forward to thanking our Polish allies for their dedication and humanitarian efforts.
We will proudly convey the gratitude of America for the work of U.S. servicemembers and diplomats and other civilian leaders in Poland. When we return to the United States, we will do so further informed, deeply inspired and ready to do what is needed to help the Ukrainian people as they defend democracy for their nation and
for the world.”

It has been clear for more than a year that ultraconservative members of Congress were deeply involved in attempts to keep Mr. Trump in power: They joined baseless lawsuits, spread the lie of widespread election fraud and were among the 147 Republicans who voted on Jan. 6, 2021, against certifying President Biden’s victory in at least one state.
