It’s hilarious! My younger sister & brother are 9 years apart in age. These kids are so totally them! “Boy watch tf out!” “Yo a** really this mad…” “… I do what tf I want…” “Don’t bring yo a** back over here… I’m gon’…” “Do that sh** then!” 😆😂🤣😆😂🤣😆🤣😆🤣😭
Happy News: Dad got his 1st Moderna shot today from the VA! Bad News: They wouldn’t give it to Mom even tho she lives w/ him, is the same age & gets healthcare via VA spousal benefits. If she were his registered caregiver (live-in or not), she could get it. Make it make sense!
That.is.BS. Makes no sense. Sorry. I got my first shot yesterday (Pfizer). Hubby got his last week at our regional VA hospital (2 hrs away). He got the Moderna. So, he will get his second on March 4 and I will get mine the next day. 🙂🙂👏👏
Sorry to hear that. Friend and her spouse got their shots in Philly. He wasn’t registered as a caregiver, however, they asked if he was, he responded yes. They registered him on the spot and gave him a shot. The thing I know for sure is their definition of caregiver is different from my friend’s…
Thats good to hear jazziz2. I don’t know your age. but I read that the symptoms are less severe in ages 55 or 65 and up than in younger people. Believe it or not, the fact sheet also said that symptoms are worse if you have a strong immune system. I had to read this twice but that’s what it says.
My daughter is a medical physician and she said not to believe all that is being written. Everyone will react differently based on many factors. However, she does love and respect Dr. Fauci, as do I. 🥰
“We are heading into a new phase of American domestic violent extremism … This is dangerous.”
Malcolm Nance joins The ReidOut to discuss the role violent extremists played during the Capitol Hill Insurrection”
@LeaderMcConnell you voted "Not Guilty," so sit your a$$ down and STFU. YOU prevented the trial being held while trump was in office. There is no redemption for you.
Burr was a pleasant surprise; wish 10 more had a modicum of intestinal fortitude… May state AG’s and DA’s have better outcomes.
I was able to hold back my tears till I read this. I have to believe those who love this country and honor our Constitution will prevail. We take today to mourn, to be angry, to be stunned at the injustice. And tomorrow we move forward. Thank you Matthew
Republicans allowed Donald Trump to incite an insurrection without consequence, and now they want to allow insurrectionists to determine state voting laws. We cannot allow laws to be written based on a lie. We must protect the right to vote. #gapol
What is wrong with folks who ask what is wrong with DEMS…There was nothing that the DEMS could present that was going to get 17 votes from the Senate… those who think otherwise are living in a fantasy…But Still the DEMS presented a masterful case…So very proud of them
For the moment my one question is – Why does our side seem always to have to mine in search of the good? That can be so tiring, especially to someone already weary… or wary.
"That abdication will weigh on McConnell’s conscience and historical reputation."
Except that I haven't noticed anything in McConnell's behaviour that suggests he has a conscience, I take some small comfort from the rest of your article. Thank you.
BTW, I am proud of the DEMS’ presentation of the case! At the same time I’m suspicious of several of the GOP names who voted to convict. The suspicious part of me will always question the actions of characters like Collins, Murkowski and Romney, because their decisions are so inconsistent. Part of me believes they voted the way they did not because they were upholding the constitution or because they have integrity, but rather because McConnell okayed it as a strategic move. I notice how they held the number just below 60.
67 to convict . Had to get to 67 = 2/3rds. It was purely never going to happen, but on principle and historic reasons it was an imperative to see it through.
So tRump can still be disqualified from running for office???
To prevent Trump from holding office again, a simple majority of Congress must now pass a resolution invoking Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which bars anyone from holding office who has "engaged in insurrection" against the United States.

Amid the disappointment, the discovery of so many talented, brilliant and verbally compelling House managers is deeply uplifting—one good reason to be hopeful about the future.
Agree, House Managers were brilliant, each and every one of them. They put together a compelling case. Anyone who voted to acquit Trump, is just as guilty as Trump, got that Mitch? Nothing but a bunch of boot lickers in the repug party.
It takes a lot to get Glenn riled up, but this is as it should be..
I think I figured out the link issue..
Trump Found Not Guilty at Impeachment Trial, McConnell is Grim Reaper of Both Legislation AND Justice. The political process has failed to hold Trump accountable. But Lady Justice is just gettin’ warmed up. Because #JusticeMattershttps://t.co/h3SlakVQXw via @YouTube
When we say #RepresentationMatters this is what we mean!! Not only is @JasonWardNY bringing birding to a broader audience, he’s showing that Black folks do this too! And HIS story & love for nature! Love it, congrats✊🏽🔥 https://t.co/wvavcSwRV8
Remembering the Parkland massacre 3 years ago today. 😔
Three years ago today, a gunman entered Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL, and killed 17 students and staff members and injured 17 more.

The most American thing I can think of is that 57 people voted to convict and 43 voted to acquit, and the 43 people won
— Margaret Owen, Temporary Hermit (@what_eats_owls) February 13, 2021
We can teach kids that the Declaration of Independence states all men are created equal, that our constitution guarantees equal treatment, but the reality is that "some people count more than others" was built into this country and until we exorcise it this will keep happening.
— Margaret Owen, Temporary Hermit (@what_eats_owls) February 13, 2021
Also: I understand why people are RT'ing with "this is un-American" but let's be real. For *most* of this country's history, only white men could vote, hold property, hold office. Gerrymandering, runoffs, and 2/3rds rules still exist to uphold that. It's *very* American.
— Margaret Owen, Temporary Hermit (@what_eats_owls) February 13, 2021
What is it with DEM Bashing??….Is it because Dems represent folks of color and democracy…is that why the pundits and the media need to bash them the ImpeachmentManagers stood against white supremacy and tryanny…where do the pundits and media stand
A White House the partners with communities. How refreshing.
Today the President reestablished the White House Office of Faith-Based & Neighborhood Partnerships to work with leaders of different faiths and backgrounds who are the frontlines of their communities in crisis and who can help us heal, unite, and rebuild. https://t.co/c8L4OvydFp
The White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships will be an essential part of President Biden's plan to bring people of all backgrounds and beliefs together to meet our challenges, perfect our union, and restore the soul of our country.
Dr. Fauci and Dr. Grady had a meet-cute fit for a medical rom-com. Thirty-five years later, they are married with three daughters and are a medical power couple leading the fight against the coronavirus. https://t.co/9acVgE1hIv
Happy Valentine’s Day, honey. We’ve got big adventures ahead. I couldn’t be more excited to be your partner on this journey. pic.twitter.com/BjgLQ96ICd
Lovely pic of the couple; however, I’d live to see a wider shot of the room. The low tables w/small ginger jar lamps seem oddly out of place. The off center drawer handles would drive me up a wall…
It never ever fails … those who protest tooooo much of something only to later be the one who is guilty of that very thing.
How many of these cases have we read about?
Good Afternoon, TODers!!! Thank you, Nerdy!!!

Not bad. Still breathing! Hope all is well with you.
Doing good! 😊

then president Trump exactly what was happening to VP Pence. If they hadn’t he’d be blaming them.
What we’ve learned about Trump is if he cannot have something he would rather destroy it.

So Dad got his Moderna shot today, but…

So frustrating. Glad to hear the two of you got yours though! 💪🏾
My husband got his yesterday from the VA. I am on a list for today. Hope I get it.
Congrats to your Dad, Dudette. I got my first shot this morning also; it was the Pfizer brand. I am scheduled for the 2nd shot on March 6.
Yay COS! Good to hear!
Sorry to hear that. Friend and her spouse got their shots in Philly. He wasn’t registered as a caregiver, however, they asked if he was, he responded yes. They registered him on the spot and gave him a shot. The thing I know for sure is their definition of caregiver is different from my friend’s…
I got my second shot of Pfizer on February 5th; NO SIDE EFFECTS!

I don’t. I also love and respect Dr. Fauci immensly. I was just wondering why Pfeizer would include this on their fact sheet.
I read the same. I’m 65, with a shot immune system. Just hope the vaccine works for me; meanwhile, I stay in, and if I must go out, I double mask…
👍🏾
Sorry to hear that, Dudette, and hope it moves swiftly from here for your Mom!
Thanks J!

Agree that our future is permanent insurgency
if the Sentate fails to convict and disqualify
the fmr C-I-C Donald Trump,
and they know it.
Traitorous treasonous and seditious corrupt thug gets away with the highest of crimes. Disgusting.
I am sorry, i don’t see much hope for murkkka. Good bye.
McConnell still litigating constitutionality.
At the same time saying “he didn’t get away with anything yet”.
The gall – after cunningly delaying the trial he claimed it was too late.
HOUSE MANAGERS AND TEAMS,
STUNNING!
STUNNING!
STUNNING!
A zillion thanks for your work.
Yes!!!!!
Burr was a pleasant surprise; wish 10 more had a modicum of intestinal fortitude… May state AG’s and DA’s have better outcomes.
Maybe … maybe not. Not sure I buy that from him.
Totally agree!

Oh yes, that’s right; I don’t know why ’60’ figured in my mind when I was responding. Thanks.
So tRump can still be disqualified from running for office???
From Pres Biden
Definitely agree:
