This is an intra-Montana split. The state's AG signed on to an amicus brief saying the election in GA, MI, PA and WI was unconstitutional because of alleged state law violations. The state's governor argues it wasn't and that this argument would invalidate Montana's election too.
Where are the Republicans who won their elections on the same ballots? Why aren't they fighting to keep their own elections valid? You would think the GOP would be pushing back for this reason bc they won so many state seats!

The topic of hyperacusis came up, and I meant to post a link to a small in-ear device I’ve had some relief using, so if anyone else has issues of coping with noise in our modern world, here is a recommendation from WMP/W:
Creating doom…
They’ve been sending the message for a long time that non-wealthy Americans should eff off and die.
The poorer we get, the more vulnerable we are to a faux democratic mafia state.
Right in line with their opinion that only certain people should have the right to vote (i.e., White, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant, Conservative, males). Their suppression efforts over the years have worked towards that end. Now they are being outright open of their intent.
"While some people saw our collective effort to flip Georgia as wasted energy, this powerful combination delivered victory. Together, across the state and at every level of the ballot, we did the work."
“The President has threatened to veto the bill, largely because it has a provision in there championed by Anthony Brown of Maryland, a veteran on the Armed Services Committee, who has fought to have the renaming of these bases as an important priority.
The bill received a rousing vote on the Floor. It was like 337. I don’t have the number right here, but it was like 80 percent of the House voted for the legislation, which the President threatens to veto.”

Breaking WaPo: White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows threatened FDA commissioner Stephen Hahn, telling him today to submit his resignation if the agency does not clear the first coronavirus vaccine by day's end. https://t.co/7l7bJQC6q6
Dr. Rick Bright is a member of President-elect Biden’s COVID-19 Advisory Board,
and Director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, He filed a whistleblower complaint alleging the trump administration ignored his early warnings, after which trump ousted Dr. Bright.
He speaks to Hayes about the FDA Panel on the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine:
Dr. Bright:
“Today was a really a show of confidence for our scientists around the world,
and for people who are looking for that independent external advisory scientific expertise to look at the vaccine, that’s been in development for the entire year. Now they played this even on Youtube and other channels because there is so much public interest in what otherwise could be a pretty boring meeting.
And we did have a panel of 22 experts, clinicians, physicians, experts in vaccine development comb over thousands of pages of data from their Pfizer clinical trial over the last couple of weeks. And today you saw them really hash it out. It wasn’t an open and shut decision. There was a lot of different ideas and perspective, and scientific decision and discussion. And then at the end of the day they weighted the risk of getting the virus, which we all see how bad that is now. And they weighed the benefit and the safety known from the vaccine from the studies done. It was clear in a 17-4-1 vote that the benefit of this vaccine would outweigh those risks. And it should be used and should be given this Emergency Use Authorization.
And that’s the recommendation to the FDA.”
Hayes: “They spent last week with huge amounts of just the data produced…they looked through that.
And then these folks are external…people who aren’t part of the FDA internally…outside experts they come in, they review the information, and then they make the vote. That’s how it works?”
Dr. Bright:
“That’s exactly how it works. They have no financial conflict with the companies that are making the vaccines. They have no political tie-ins, so there’s no political pressure on them to make a decision one way or the other. They are true scientific experts. They are independent. I trust them. And when they tell us that they trust the data from this vaccine and it looks that good for them to recommend this Emergency Use Authorization, I take that as a vote of confidence. And I hope that the FDA and I anticipate that the FDA ,
will accept their recommendation. And also authorize the vaccine for emergency use.”
Hayes: “The next step, who makes that call?”
Dr. Bright:
“There is a panel of experts, career scientists, civil servants, and the FDA. This is what they do.
They’ve spent more time than just the last weeks looking at these data, as they came in on a rolling basis from the various clinical trials. They’re going to consider the data they have. They’re going to consider the recommendation and all the discussion from the panel today. It’s not just the recommendation, but everything that was discussed will be considered. And then they will make their decision. And the FDA Commissioner Dr. Hahn, will approve that decision most likely. And then that will grant the Emergency Use Authorization. Then next it will go to the CDC. CDC has an external advisory panel as well. Called the
ACIP. And they will look at the data from the FDA. And then they will make the recommendations for the different populations for the vaccine to be used in. That will happen probably Sunday.”
Hayes: “You need speed and thoroughness…a vaccine that will be introduced into the bodies of essentially everyone in the world or in the country, like ya better get that right! And yet there’s a speed imperative as well. It seems like there are a lot of built in layers here on purpose.”
Dr. Bright:
“There are a lot of built in layers.
This vaccine goes into healthy people to protect them from serious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus from COVID-19 basically. Now remember – this is just the first step of this process too. So we want to make sure that once the vaccine is improved, the hard work you know really will start in how to distribute the vaccine, how to administer the vaccine. It is still going to take months and months and months for us to vaccinate everyone across the country. So while we were excited about today’s process and the next few days as well, we want people to realize this is just a start in a very complicated downstream process that’s going to play out over the next few months.”
Dr. Bright:
“And so in the meantime, don’t stop wearing your mask. Don’t stop social distancing.
And unfortunately we’re going to again have make the very hard decisions to not travel and be with our family and loved ones through the Christmas and December holidays actually. Because we want to make sure that we’re all here next year, so we can get the vaccine when it becomes available.”
Hayes: Survive to the vaccine for six weeks, two months, three months, four months, whatever it’s going to take wherever you are in line. Please, please keep holding it together as best you can in your behavior and practices.”

“TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma —The Cherokee Nation is set to receive its first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine directly from the Indian Health Service (IHS) starting next week.
The Cherokee Nation is set to receive 975 of the first doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine the week of Dec. 14. The Cherokee Nation will vaccinate its frontline health care workers and emergency responders,
Cherokee speakers, Cherokee National Treasures and elders over the age of 65 during its first phase.
Taking a COVID-19 vaccine is another step forward to saving lives among our Cherokee people and
helping stop the spread of this deadly virus in our Cherokee communities,” Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. said. “I know some of our Cherokee elders may have reservations about taking the vaccine, but it will save our elders, our speakers, our National Treasures and frontline workers. As we continue our phased plan and get more doses into 2021 to begin vaccinating our employees and citizens, we can begin the process of healing from what we know is the worst public health crisis our tribe has faced in generations.

It’s good news that Warnock and Ossoff are both pulling ahead of their Republican opponents, both of whom are drowning in news of financial scandals. Now, there’s another bit of good news: voter enthusiasm for Warnock and Ossoff voters is off the charts. A new poll commissioned by HIT Strategies suggests that 83% of African-American women – a key demographic that helped give Joe Biden a win in Georgia are very likely to vote in the runoffs – with an additional 4% saying they were somewhat likely to vote. In urban parts of the state, that number is up to 96%.
Both candidates are also polling with near 80% favorability among African-American voters overall, while both Loeffler and Perdue have underwater approval ratings that are likely to only get worse the longer that COVID stimulus talks falter. If just over 30% of white voters turn out for Ossoff and Warnock, they can win this, and give the state federal representation it truly deserves.
The blue states unions can have saner laws, no fucking ‘2nd amindment’, no for life judges, term limits for congress critters, voting rights, no non-democratic senate ‘rules’ and proper governance.

It is dedicated to Trump and Trumpism and to his family, to defense of his indecencies, his autocratic manner, his corruptions, an apologist for the profound damage he has done.”

Brandon Bernard has been murdered. Seeing this earlier today, I wanted to just call it a day, a week, a lifetime. The reports of his last generous words and the kindness in his face, tell you what is true. May he be loved and protected on his journey. This is on us until we stop the killing.

Yeh the idea is the snowing technique takes a lot of air time
and consumes your mental time. Even as gop architects games repeatedly fail, and you know they will. We know that in the short term they want quick cash-for-trump. But imo in the longer term, trump gop are setting the stage for a russian style faux democracy.
Another example of why down ballot races matter too…

Creating doom…
They’ve been sending the message for a long time that non-wealthy Americans should eff off and die.
The poorer we get, the more vulnerable we are to a faux democratic mafia state.
Right in line with their opinion that only certain people should have the right to vote (i.e., White, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant, Conservative, males). Their suppression efforts over the years have worked towards that end. Now they are being outright open of their intent.

Speaker Pelosi:
Weekly Press Conference.

Makes me wonder now ….
SOON: President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris Introduce Key Members of their Administration
MUST NOT HAVE BAD THOUGHTS! But I DOOOOOOO. Fuck him.

The Cherokee Nation made several purchases and facility updates to keep the COVID-19 vaccines stored properly.”

‘Texas does not seek to have the Court interpret the Constitution, so much as disregard it.
…
Texas’s effort to get this Court to pick the next president has no basis in law or fact. The Court should not abide this seditious abuse of the judicial process, and should send a clear and unmistakable signal that such abuse must never be replicated.”
A-MEN!
This was apparently a part of Pennsylvania’s response.
Shorter: US keep your nasty, disease ridden asses far away from us.
Go for it, seditious assholes. Good riddance.
The blue states unions can have saner laws, no fucking ‘2nd amindment’, no for life judges, term limits for congress critters, voting rights, no non-democratic senate ‘rules’ and proper governance.
And NO MORE FUCKING ELECTORAL COLLEGE.

yup, they came this close to a coup.
Smart and humble too. The very opposite of rethugs.
Fucking arrogant entitled illiterates
seditious abuse of the judicial process. exactly.
All of this is about the fact that Black/POC and Native votes dragged Biden/Harris in to victory. If only whites had voted, the orange one would have won. The big game is to disenfranchise minority, but especially Black voters. Just as at one time we counted as only 3/5 of a person, they want our votes to be the same or not at all. They came after us hard because of PBO, but they will come even harder now.
Stupid, useless trivia from the useless msm.
Of course we are not finished. We have more time to grift off the stupid racists.
what republicans?
Exactly. High time the pundtwits stopped trying to prop up the rethugs.
LOL.
and so corrupt.
What are the dems gonna do now for these seditious and treasonous acts from the rethugs? They cannot sweep all these under the congress ‘camaraderie’ rug and continue it’s business as usual since the thugs will go in even deeper shit to undermine the democracy.
Is rush limpaugh dead yet? sean klannity?
Yup. Kill the stupid ‘transition period’. No other country has this ridiculous ‘rule’.
