    VP JOE BIDEN
    IN BROWARD FL:
“And we shouldn’t be politicizing the race for a vaccine either, we should be planning its safe and equitable
and free distribution. Providing the funding for PPE, the mask and everything we need to protect ourselves. Setting a national standard for schools and businesses to reopen. Bringing together Republicans and Democrats to deliver the economic relief that’s already been passed in the House of Representatives for working families, the young employed, for schools, for businesses. Allowing you to stay in your home if you don’t have the money for rent. Allowing you to stay in your home. 20 million people are on the cliff of losing their home for next month’s mortgage payment. I’ve said it before, I’m not going to shut down the economy.
I’m not going to shut down the country, but I’m going to shut down the virus.”

“If they get their way this time,
100 million Americans will lose their protection for preexisting conditions.
If you have asthma, diabetes, any pre-existing condition, they can charge you so much you can’t afford anything. Including 8.4 million Floridians who have pre-existing conditions are now covered. Complications with COVID, heart scarring, lung scarring, heart disease, they’re going to become preexisting conditions. Allowing insurers to jack up your premiums, deny your coverage. And most people don’t remember it particularly the young people, women will once again be able to charged more for healthcare just because they’re a woman.
Donald Trump thinks healthcare is a privilege, I think it’s a right of every American.”

    PRESIDENT OBAMA in Orlando:
“When Joe and Kamala are in charge, they’re not going to surround themselves with hacks and lobbyists.
They’re going to surround themselves with qualified public service, who actually are serious about doing their job, who are looking out for you, for your job, your family, your health, your communities, your planet,
and that more than anything is what separates them from their opponents.”

“World’s Largest Seagrass Restoration Project is a Virginia Success, Planting 600 Acres That Grow
    to Become 9,000”
“A group of marine scientists and volunteers spread more than 70 million eelgrass seeds across a 200-hectare plot off the southern end of Virginia’s eastern shore. Led by the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and with help from The Nature Conservancy, the project has grown to over 3,600 hectares (8,896 acres),
making it the largest seagrass restoration in the world.
    For perspective,
this landmark seagrass meadow project off the coast of Wales used 750,000 seeds to create a five-acre meadow.”
“According to WWF’s article 10 Reasons to Hope,
seagrass can capture carbon 35 times faster than even tropical rainforests, but as it currently covers merely 0.2% of the seafloor, the potential to use more seagrass as a carbon offset is essentially unlimited.

Been voting since 1973 when 18 year olds won the right to vote. This is the most consequential election of my lifetime, even more so than Barack’s election and re-election. If we win this thing, presidency and senate majority, I will probably break down, rocking back and forth crying copious tears in release and gratitude. I know that this would be only the start, so many obstacles to meet and overcome, but at least we will have a fighting chance. I am cautiously confident, fighting each day to manage the anxiety, but hopeful.

“Native vote plays powerful role, especially in swing states”
“Voting advocates predict Native voters will come out in force despite challenges #NativeVote20”
    By Mary Annette Pember
    Indian Country Today
    indiancountrytoday.com
“Native American and Alaska Native voters have the power to determine the next president.
“Had Native voters turned out in 2016, we would likely have had a very different outcome in the presidential election,” said OJ Semans, executive director of Four Directions Inc., a Native American voting rights advocacy organization. Semans is a member of the Rosebud Sioux tribe.
Native voters stand to play a crucial role in the 2020 election, especially in swing states where they make up significant portions of eligible voters. States in which two major parties have similar levels of support and high numbers of electoral votesare also home to large Native populations. The approximately 3.7 million Natives
and Alaska Natives of voting age are represented in this election’s crucial swing states.”

    Congresswoman Deb Halland (NM):
“Haaland Joins Legislation to Keep Schools Safe During COVID-19 Pandemic”
“Albuquerque, New Mexico – This week, Congresswoman Deb Haaland (NM-01) joined a bill that would help keep schools safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Safe Schools Act, introduced by Rep. Chuy Garcia (Ill.-04), to provide $17 billion to school districts to pay for PPE, cleaning supplies, technical training, and additional staff support needed to keep students, educators, and communities healthy.

“Our teachers and school districts are doing everything they can to keep our students from falling into the gaps during this pandemic, but the Trump Administration continues to push reopening without giving them the proper resources. The PPE for Safe Schools Act works to address this, by providing crucial funding for our schools that will make sure we keep school staffs, teachers, students and the broader community healthy,” said Congresswoman Deb Haaland.”
