It’s nice some companies including Walmart, are giving a few hours off to staff on Nov 3 to vote.
But that may not be enough (as mentioned by SW in the previous post).
    It’s a start I suppose.

National holiday, like DF said, is needed.

3D in this plane of existence…
-The 2020 RNC was held at the PEOPLE’S HOUSE.
-We were violated, threatened, grossly lied to and dangerously misled, by the maniacal traitor in the WH.
-Two thousand dumb, dumb, dumber victims and their overlords are on camera for all the world to see.
-Some will get sick, some will make their families at home sick, some may die. (Please track.)
-Trump is already guilty of willful negligence…and mass murder.
    wtf, hello?

The playoffs will continue Saturday, three days after players walked out. As part of the agreement, the league committed to a new series of social justice efforts.

The N.B.A. announced a plan to convert some of its arenas into polling locations for the November election as part of an agreement with its players’ union to resume the playoffs on Saturday.

The N.B.A. and union’s joint plan also includes, according to the statement, the creation of “a social justice coalition, with representatives from players, coaches and governors, that will be focused on a broad range of issues, including increasing access to voting, promoting civic engagement, and advocating for meaningful police and criminal justice reform.”

Anyone remotely considering the possibility that even the greatest landslide victory in US political history will cause Trump, Pence, McConnell and all of Putin’s other assets to obey the rule of law, the Constitution to exit as all other President’s have is living in a bubble. Period.

We are at war folks and Putin is winning and absolutely nothing in the past 3.5 years has even remotely been effective in deterring Trump’s fire storm of death and destruction of people’s lives, the US Economy & US National Security.

ABSOLUTELY NOTING because PUTIN OWNS the White House, the Senate, at least 3 seats on SCOTUS and has both ultra-wealthy and dirt poor US White Supremacists on his team.

I look at these NBA players and I’m in awe, I’m in awe that most of them are in their twenties and they have the intestinal fortitude to navigate and fight in a world that sees them as being rich and spoiled, forgetting that a lot of those players were not born with a silver spoon in their mouths. In fact most of them didn’t have a goddamn spoon in the first place, but still they solider on. I hear a lot of people saying that they should do this and that, and the majority of those offering advice come from a place of privilege. There isn’t a handbook that explains how a group should go about boycotting or striking, but for the grace of god you don’t have to protest against a system that sees you as the enemy. God bless those players.

Everybody is a fucking expert when it comes to telling Black people how, when, and where to fucking protest. Some people want their neat and quiet bubble to remain that way and not have to be bothered by Black people getting killed by the hands of people that do not have any business being police officers. This fucking kids walks into a church and kills nine Black people and when he’s taken alive by the police they take that motherfucker out for a burger. How do you think Black people feel about shit like that happening? How are Black people supposed to digest that? Now imagine that same scene being played out in different ways for centuries? Doc Rives was right, we keep loving a country that does not give one flying fuck about us. So we had a Black president, so fucking what, you basically called him a nigger every day of his presidency. You got a White president that is the walking embodiment of rotted filth that shits on the flag every goddamn day and yet damn near half the country is willing to reelect him. You gave the Black president that wanted to save your ungrateful ass, you gave him your racist ass to kiss. Now if you think that 99.99999% of Black people don’t think like I do, then you are sadly mistaken my friend.
