    This is the first convention that I actually enjoyed from start to finish. The digital format was more personal, had a clear message that was easily articulated by all involved and was about inclusion which is more than being diverse.

      Co-signing on this. The digital format also eliminates nasty surprises, sideshow scandals, and gives the commenters nothing to talk about other than substance. It also allows speakers who are shy to make their comments with less stress. We would not have had Brayden’s brave and touching speech if he had had to do it in a crowded, loud, unfamiliar venue with thousands of adults.

      was anyone else biting down on their fist and curling up in the chair….stutterers and their parents everywhere must have been affected by Brayden. And his telling about Joe. Whenever Joe even hinted at faltering last night I thought of his history of stuttering. So human, so moving. Bravo Brayden, bravo Joe.
