Saw this on Twitter and it melted my heart. It was precious, funny, hopeful and sad all at the same time. The parents are so wonderful to help them to do this. I can imagine these babies seeing the protests on tv or maybe a march passed by their home and they asked the parents about it and wanted to participate and this was the result. Maybe this time it will be different and real and lasting change will come.
As a Tennessean, it makes me sick that there are monuments standing in our state that celebrate racist historical figures who did evil things. Edward Carmack and Nathan Bedford Forrest were DESPICABLE figures in our state history and should be treated as such.
53 years ago, the Supreme Court struck down the ban on interracial marriage. That’s right – only 53 years ago. Today we celebrate #LovingDay and we continue the fight for racial justice in our country. https://t.co/6HDFHbGxUm

A Trump administration rule will allow health care providers to deny care to anyone they perceive as trans or gay.
The rule was released on the 4th anniversary of the Pulse shooting, which left 49 mostly queer and trans people dead in a Florida nightclub. https://t.co/HJu7afQwe1
I don't think people realize the profound effect President Obama had on the generation that grew up with him as our President. He set an incredible example for them by being kind and honest. Having daughters in that age group made him a fatherly role model to them.
Our new ad cuts to the chase, and pulls no punches: We’d never name bases after America’s enemies, like Osama bin Laden. Why does Donald Trump so desperately want to keep the names of other racist enemies on our Army bases? pic.twitter.com/Pfixi2Tu6w

I’d be more than happy if he picks Kamala Harris, but I’m trying to spread my wings so I’m not disappointed if I only pick one and he picks somebody else! If that makes sense!
Give me Harris or Rice, or give me death, just kidding. But I prefer Harris, her elbows seem a little more sharper, Harris is street fighter and she has no problem going to the mattresses. Biden needs a war-time consigliere. In a more stable environment Rice wouldn’t be a bad pick, but we aren’t in a stable environment.

In these times, we are again and again reduced to stating what should be obvious: Discrimination is wrong. LGBTQ people deserve equality. Lives depend on voting this administration out. https://t.co/nuEWl8yHse
BREAKING: The Trump administration just finalized a rule that would remove nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ people in health care and health insurance.
Critics say the rule would further harm an already vulnerable group — trans people — amid a pandemic.

Or, if you’ve noticed the dozens of other similar announcements in recent days. Take that as a small measure of the way in which Black people are INUNDATED with HUNDREDS of microaggressions every day. . .
No white person in America will ever see the equivalent of what the Confederate Flag represents to Black people so normalized that any time you leave your house, you are almost guaranteed to see it, casually, thoughtlessly displayed.

Hollywood has made many Vietnam War stories over the past 50 years, but very few have dug into the experiences of black servicemen in that conflict. Spike Lee's "Da 5 Bloods"—out on Netflix—is a masterful film that changes that, @davidlsims writes: https://t.co/M80cYKRC3K
If you haven’t already read it, I recommend the book, Bloods: Black Veterans of the Vietnam War: An Oral History by Wallace Terry. Trump’s campaign needs to warn voters that, by casting their ballots for his reelection, they’re waiving the right to sue or complain if they discover they’ve lost their liberties as free citizens in a self-governing constitutional republic.
