Reporting now for weeks on the devastating numbers of deaths in nursing homes, Rachel Maddow says
“It is clearer than day” that most Americans are dying in congregate living places, nursing homes and long term care facilities. In Wayne, West Virginia there are 67 confirmed coronavirus cases, and 66 are from one nursing home. In Montgomery County PA, virus cases are doubling every seven days, 61% of county deaths are from congregate care facilities, 73 out of 600 facilities have confirmed cases.
There is no national tracking – yet this is where most Americans will die.
The federal government is not working on it, or acknowledging it.
So what can concerned local officials do without federal help? Maddow speaks with Dr. Valerie Arkoosh,
board of commissioners who has daily check-ins followed by discussions.

from investigative reporter Jane Mayer is worth all of it. It took me an hour, anyway, because I had to keep surfacing for clean air. Because the portrait the emerges is of a power-hungry, principle-free sociopath
without a single redeeming quality. Just what you always imagined of McConnell, and so much worse. To distill it all down is near-on impossible…”

OH, I see what he did there. BRAVO.

Unequivocal.
This thread is fabulous:
Here are a few (and some are even funnier).
Unfortunately, this is a good depiction of a lot of Democrats, although it did make me laugh. 🙂
Yeah, you had the skip the ones who didn’t get the joke.
