“When I say, ‘I don’t get mad, I get even’, there’s one person who is going to hear from me. His name is Michael Moore,” Clyburn says. The film-maker and longtime Sanders supporter claimed after Biden’s victory in South Carolina that the state was “not representative” of the United States. “I don’t want to say much but I’m going to have a lot to say.”

Come on, I press, and he happily obliges. Reminding me that Biden won more than 60 per cent of the black vote in South Carolina and bigger percentages in Alabama and Mississippi, he says: “According to Michael Moore, South Carolina doesn’t matter because here’s what ‘the people’ want.” He says Moore is dismissing the voices of the most important segment of the Democratic electorate — black voters.

I am starting to wonder about Bernie supporters … whose side are they on?

        March 28, 2020 at 10:42 pm

I been wondering about who they are since 2016. If you can see for three and a half years what Trump and his administration stand for, and then know that Bernie does not stand for that same crap, then you can not vote or vote for a third party or vote for Trump, then these Bernie supporters are worse then Trump supporters.

True … and I have said (to my room mate) that Bernie supporters are like Trump supporters or worse (ai am in total agreement with you).

We are losing our icons who can speak with such 1st person authority about that period of struggle in our nation’s history..so we have a special obligation to keep the memories but more importantly the FACTS of our struggle alive…and to teach our young people to do the same…

He thought he had buried this:
“Trump Demands Media Reveal Sources After He Posed As A Fake Spokesperson For Decades.
He spent years “planting fake news as his own pretend press secretary.”
“Trump once pretended to be his own PR person (John Barron) to spread fake information about his wealth
so it is ironic that he is baselessly attacking the press for not naming sources. Trump wants sources named in stories so that he can retaliate against them.”
= When Trump (a.k.a. John Barron) spread fake news about himself.

“We are all just collateral damage in Trump’s re-election strategy”
“This country has had some truly bad people as president over its history………..
“But there has never been a president in American history who based his re-election strategy on a cynical gamble involving the lives of the entire American population.
We have never before experienced a president who deliberately, voluntarily chose to assume the role of a threat, rather than an ally and protector, to the American public.
Not just a threat to those who might oppose him, but an existential threat to all.”

      “Tragically,
that is exactly Donald Trump’s strategy to preserve his political power in the face of this pandemic.
He has chosen to gamble the lives of ordinary Americans facing potentially the most dire public health crisis in the nation’s history,
in hopes of securing his own re-election.”

Many of our Manufacturing capabilities were moved to China. It started in the 1980s…ramped up in the 1990s & early 2000s.

      • March 28, 2020 at 9:36 pm

The stuff can be made here; however, we’d still have to get most of the materials and or parts from overseas as we no longer have fabric mills, no own the patents on some of the machine parts…

    • March 28, 2020 at 9:43 pm

Btw, this is a donation, not a sale. I guess being a kind, decent human being/leader benefits your people.

China is still in the midst of the pandemic, however, they have been sharing supplies, meds, equipment, and medical staff with their world neighbors for the last month or so.

Trump’s Environmental ‘Protection’ Agency is creating loopholes for a “sweeping and indefinite suspension of environmental rules”. So now that a global pandemic has us sick, dying, busy keeping each other alive:
Doom’s fossil fuel industry stooges in the WH are ready to pollute the eff out of the planet.
Former coal lobbyist Andrew Wheeler has given a “green light to pollute with impunity.”
      Shock doctrine.

MAGAs will happily accept the checks because they are from their Dear Leader Con Hum Trump.
