    Thank you, Nerdy. Always🙏🏼

I’m gonna make my comment about my observations after watching RM opening. What he’s orchestrating in the US with the supplies and the vents… is THUNDERDOME. Fight it out among yourself. Last state standing. I fucking hate him

He did say that “He wasn’t taking any responsibility.” In fact, all this has nothing to do with him. All he wants is a convoy, a big caravan of people, perhaps women in big hats, dressed up and heading to church for Easter. And, of course, on Mandy Monday, the market will soar to 30,000.

This is all what he sees as a role for him.

Exactly. When you think he can’t get anymore callous or flat out evil..well, yes he can. If he keeled over tomorrow I wouldn’t care. I’d be joyful, in fact. Sadistic sob.

Congrats, Marleysperson – Couldn’t agree more. Senator Murphy called it Lord of the Flies. I have been thinking of #IQ45’s actions as the #GOPHungerGames. He gets sadistic pleasure from getting people to fight and have to kiss his ass to get what they need.

Hey everybody! I hope you’re all doing well under the circumstances! Just my little magapie observation: PBO was steely, resilient and tough. I know that could be missed because he was so kind, empathetic and intellectual. STRONG INDIVIDUAL gave us the strongest President in our lifetimes. He never ever obsessed over the media coverage or news cycles, in fact he didn’t listen to it. He always WORKED, managed, cared and kept his eye on the ball for our country.

My grandkids are out for the remainder of the year–Virginia. No graduation for our grandson. Granddaughter is dyslexic and other LD’s. Our single mom daughter is still working, thankfully, and doing lesson plans at night. Mason is her childcare and supervising or helping when he needs to his sister’s school work and flute practice. He begins a job with the city April 6, M-T, noon to 5:00. She is going to cut her hours to 6 hrs. a day and Aliya will be by herself for 3 hrs. from the time “Bubby” leaves for work until Mommie gets home. Sign of the times. We are all having to do things we do not want to do and make sacrifices. Sad, sad. Maddening……this evil man occupying our WH.

Good luck, my dear. I had a committee meeting on Zoom and I didn’t get the audio on so I had to communicate via typing. Had my own shorthand. Figured it out after it was over. Easy once you know what you are doing. Good luck.

I have had two meetings so far on Zoom, and I have been the only one not able to get my audio to work! Very frustrating. My son who is a computer expert tried, and the leader of the group tried, and it just wouldn’t work….on this beautiful new laptop my son gave me for Christmas. So, my son sent me an external microphone which I hope works. Zoom is great…..I hope to be able to participate Sunday morning. I had never heard of it before this event. I don’t want to seem over the top, but the other day I saw a documentary on Caligula on TV. That is trump.

Wasn’t she the one during the press briefing yesterday claiming that there was more than enough PPE to supply the hospitals — contrary to what the doctors /healthcare workers WHO ARE IN THE MIDST OF IT and the governors are saying?!?!?!?! Hard to understand why so many of them are willing to ruin their reputations to appease the liar-in-chief.

If there is truly enough equipment, then you know who is playing games, wanting the states to beg for what they need, and what he is bound by oath to supply.

Yes, they’re close to her Mom now. I’m sure it’s a relief to her that they are near. Plus I’d imagine Meghan wants Archie to have a relationship at least one of his grandparents. People who hate you hate you more when you ignore them and go on and live your best life. The hatred and abuse hurled at this couple just because they want what everyone wants, to live and to love as they see fit, shows the jealousy and racism of those who make hateful comments. They got the Black girl out of the country and out of the royal line, but she took with her the only thing that matters: he child, her dogs and her husband. Harry wanted more than to be a bird in a gilded cage that has to sing and preen on demand. He basically told them to take this job and shove it and walked out holding the hand of the love of his life. This couple is going to do well in their new life.

      • March 27, 2020 at 1:47 pm

Me, too. There is such a deep well of hatred because they chose their own path, because they’re different, outside the mold. Racism, classicism. all the isms.

  64. March 27, 2020 at 12:41 pm

Rachel Maddow on testing (march 25):
“There are two ways of testing to find out, to see if you`ve been exposed to the novel coronavirus.
The first is to test for the presence of the virus. That`s generally with a swab of your nose or throat.
That`s kind of the test that is so hard to come by in this country. That`s the test that actually tests for the virus, for the antigen itself.
The second way is to test your blood for antibodies to the virus.
So if you`ve got the virus, and your body fought it off, your body made and used coronavirus antibodies in that fight. And with a relatively simple cheap quick blood test, doctors can tell whether you have those antibodies, and therefore whether or not you`ve been exposed.
Today, the U.K. said they would try to go ahead with antibody testing of the British population on a mass scale. They said they`ve already ordered 3.5 million antibody tests and they`re in the process of ordering millions

    • March 27, 2020 at 12:42 pm

‘The advantage to antibody testing, as I mentioned is in part speed and ease.
Compared to the kinds of tests that look for the virus itself, antibody testing is quick, relatively easy and relatively cheap. It therefore does have the possibility of being used on a mass scale, which could be helpful. It could reveal how far the virus has spread through a particular community and it could potentially reveal whether people who have recovered from the virus might be immune to it, at least for a while.”

    • March 27, 2020 at 12:50 pm

(Hoping to have an antibody test whenever it is available. Having a relapse today of whatever virus
… the clinic wouldn’t test me or 100 hundred others on the day i went in. Would be good to know. And am thinking Amy Klobuchar is a candidate for antibody testing because one can be asymptomatic. That is why everyone across the country must be tested. And until more testing is done, Trump’s hell faux
‘county by county assessments’ is further endangering us all.)

    Ignorance kills

  70. March 27, 2020 at 1:16 pm

    Some background:
HAYES two days ago: “Last December, on New Years Eve, the World Health Organization learned that dozens of people in China were being treated for a mysterious pneumonia. Eight days later, a new type of Coronavirus was identified as the cause.”
ZEYNEP TUFEKCI: “…In 2003, we had a similar outbreak (SARS) which started in China, and China covered it up for a while, and it got out of hand, and it almost became a pandemic, right. We came this close to having a global crisis. So, when we heard again that the first week of January there was now this viral pneumonia linked to a seafood market, a wet market, which  means probably a zoonotic virus jumping species, it was a five alarm fire  right there. And it was identified very early. And later, on January 20th,  when China itself shut down Wuhan and Hubei, which are these 50 million person provinces, that was also a very strong signal, if they`re doing this, they`re facing something very significant, because they is switched from cover-up to, you know, all hands on deck.”

    • March 27, 2020 at 1:17 pm

TUFEKCI: “So, the way I explain it in my article is that flu is like the person who unlocks your door for the robber, and this COVID-19 is the thing that just comes in and robs you, hits you over the head. So, that`s the big difference, so that method, I see the ventilator capacity was going to be overrun. Well, I say all over this, because by the end of January and early February, all of this is was known.
So as you note that a lot of us that were either close to studying pandemics or following the epidemiologists, were really frustrated because in February, we should have been getting ready.
We should have been ramping up the masks and personal protection.
      We should have stopped travel.
      We should have started screening.
We should have gotten the tests ready.
So it is really tragic that this kind of failure of listening to the right expert, and failure of imagination.”

    • March 27, 2020 at 1:18 pm

Because of what they’d learned about SARS, Hong Kong defied China. And went straight into lockdown.
As did Taiwan. And those are the countries that now have COVID-19 under control = And why we don’t.
So Trump got his wish…we lead the world…in virus cases.
Right now globally it is indeed America First.
