    Good Afternoon TODVille.

    Happy Sunday!

Thank you for bringing us over!

  2. March 1, 2020 at 3:19 pm

Congrats, No Child! Off to canvass for my pediatrician friends who is running for the state legislature.

Surely if Barack Obama can be President so can I, I’m just as intelligent as he is. And I can reach people that he can’t. This describes Bloomberg, Pete, Sanders, Warren and Steyer.

What kills me about Warren is she wouldn’t be known nationally were it not for President Barack Obama.

I want to hit a few of those on your list with a board, right in their smug faces.

Thank you for letting me get that out of my system. The end.

I was born a Democrat through and through. I know history and my place in history and the history of those that share the same skim pigmentation. Not only have I’ve studied America’s history I’ve also studied world history. I’ve also studied almost every political system in the world. So at 53 years old I know what it is to be a Democrat, but more importantly after studying politics I chose to be a Democrat. So I’m always suspect of Republicans becoming Democrats.

But here I would disagree a little and speak intuitively only. A party can morph into something so outside of its initial self that thoughtful people may feel having no choice but to leave it. Don’t you agree?

CA is unfortunately full of Bernie Bros, boomers and young people who don’t bother to step back and see the utter folly in all of Bernie’s hoopla. They’d rather make a point about “corporate Democrats.” It really blows my mind.

    Mayor Pete Buttigieg tonight:
    (excerpts)
“What you did, and the way you did it, was how we could show not just tell the kind of campaign we will be and
the kind of country we will build. You made me proud every single day.
…Today more than ever politics matters because it calls out what is best in us, or what is worst in us, can draw us either to our better or our worst selves. Politics at its worst is ugly, but at its best politics can lift us up. It is not just policy making, it is moral, it is soul craft. That is why we are in this.
Earlier today we were in Selma marching in commemoration of the Civil Rights Movement on the Edmund Pettus Bridge, where I was humbled to walk in the symbolic and the literal shadows of heroes who 55 years ago made America more of a democracy than it had ever been by their blood and by their courage.
…Think of how proud of our time we could be if we really did act to make it so that no one has to take to the streets in America for a decent wage, because one job is enough in the United States of America, whether you went to College or not.
Imagine how proud we would to be the generation that saw the day when your race has no bearing on your
health or your wealth, or your relationship with law enforcement in the United States.
What if we could be the ones to deliver the day when our teachers are honored a little more like soldiers, and paid a little more like doctors?
What if we were the ones who rallied this nation to see to it that climate would be no barrier to our children’s opportunities in life?
The chance to do that is in our hands! That is the hope in our hearts.! That is the fire in our bellies! That is the future we believe in! A country that really does empower every American to thrive, and a future where everyone belongs. Thank you for sharing that vision. Thank you for helping us spread that hope…let’s move on together. Thank you. Thank you.”

Somebody asked me the other day why I’m voting for Biden. It’s so SIMPLE, people.

He’s an honest and decent person. He speaks truth.
His heart is in the right place.
      He has a clean conscience.
He’s served this nation honorably, especially as VP to the most honorable man ever to be POTUS. He’s learned from the BEST.
He can and will restore our reputation globally because he’s been in the room where it happened.
He is a lifelong SOLID Democrat who holds Democratic values.
He appears to have a healthy ego, not given to neediness and self-absorption.
He is a family man who knows the value of love and compassion.

      Just for starters.

I like Mayor Pete I’m sure he’s a good guy and he probably never stole a freight train. I’m sure he has ambitions beyond being a Mayor of a decent sized city. But yesterday after it became apparent that he was going drop out of the race everyone on twitter was suggesting that he be “GIVEN” a cabinet position. Excuse me but what has Pete done to deserve such a distinguished position. Every female candidate had to earn every position they’ve attained. Kamala, Amy, Warren, those women had to fight tooth and nail and scratch for whatever they got. So please spare with this “awwww Pete deserve something” bullshit. In politics they don’t hand out fucking participation trophies. Pete needs to get his ass out their and put the work in and then maybe if he’s lucky he’ll get something.
