I was born a Democrat through and through. I know history and my place in history and the history of those that share the same skim pigmentation. I like Mayor Pete I’m sure he’s a good guy and he probably never stole a freight train. I’m sure he has ambitions beyond being a Mayor of a decent sized city. But yesterday after it became apparent that he was going drop out of the race everyone on twitter was suggesting that he be “GIVEN” a cabinet position. Excuse me but what has Pete done to deserve such a distinguished position. Every female candidate had to earn every position they’ve attained. Kamala, Amy, Warren, those women had to fight tooth and nail and scratch for whatever they got. So please spare with this “awwww Pete deserve something” bullshit. In politics they don’t hand out fucking participation trophies. Pete needs to get his ass out their and put the work in and then maybe if he’s lucky he’ll get something.
