      MOSCOWMASSACREMITCH
Effed us over with a creepy lying kiss-arse SCOTUS appointment after illegitimately and “proudly” denying PBO’s nomination process, and now it’s the first ‘Trial” in American history without witnesses and documents.

Quickening on the climate crisis…Montana…unheard of:
On the open plains of central MT it is 63 degrees F and high winds (not a chinook = now sustained over days). Warnings that high winds could lead to fast-spreading grass fires where there is currently snow.
106 miles per hour winds in Glacier Country, fire and high winds are creating smoke causing zero visibility,
and multiple accidents, highways closing. Low humidity, high winds cause critical fire conditions.
—Warm winters may sound nice but they lead to serial out-of-control summer fires (& trees eaten by beetles).

Fossil Fuel corporation$$ are willing to exterminate us for profit.
Is why greedy GOP and politicians worldwide have played the long game and have long denied
      the catastrophic climate fallout.

    • February 2, 2020 at 12:51 pm

      Hello presidential candidates!
Let your climate positions be openly published.
We need your serious plans to Halt and Reverse our climate catastrophe from Day One.

As a Montana resident, it has been a VERY warm winter. I haven’t had my heavy winter coat out yet. Here in Missoula, it hasn’t gotten even close to zero degrees. I am so worried about this summer. I talk to ranchers all the time. They still don’t believe in climate science. They still say it’s all cyclical.

Not a Bloomberg fan, but he is not someone to have as an enemy.

    Trump is no match.

And, he can write checks all day long to do these ….

Because the cost of those ads is truly pocket change for him.

    • February 2, 2020 at 3:56 pm

If he actually wants to protect our Democracy, then he should focus on the actual enemy & mechanisms they are using.

He can start by incessantly reminding folk that Hillary Clinton won the Popular Vote despite all Trump & Putin did to undermine the 2016 Election.

He has not only the cash but he has an amazingly sophisticated information science & technology organization with outstanding network security people in the world working for him.

Trump has zero capacity, emotionally or intellectually or ethically, to withstand these truths.

Am delighted a Billionaire is writing his own checks to crush the scam artist who likely didn’t spend anything prior to the 2016 Election except laundered money for his sex, drugs & arms trafficking Russian oligarch pals – if even that.

Without doubt, the one skill Trump excels like no other is GRIFTER and he definitely passed that trait to his spawn.

Just listened to Tom Steyer talking to some Iowa folks earlier today. Talking about trump exactly the way we all feel about him. If I were there, I’d take old Tom to an Iowan bar and buy him a beer, right about now! The people in the crowd were all nodding their heads, in total agreement. Who says our country’s “totally” divided?!!!

Good Morning Everyone! Today, the first results of the Democratic primary will be released at the end of the caucus.

I do not know how the day will conclude. I just know that this 2020 election is a really life-and-death choice for millions of us who have been targets of Individual 1 and his collaborators.

I hope that as voters cast their ballots or caucus, they remember the millions of people who are so vulnerable.

If anyone here has some words of encouragement, please share them. I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

His campaign is making payments to his properties, not to mention the millions that are disbursed to his associates. So why not expect payment for the services provided by these cities? Using the excuse that he never pays his bills is not acceptable, especially for someone that constantly brags about how rich he is. No contract (which should include a deposit or down-payment)? No rally. I would love to say no public safety services but that would probably be more detrimental to the communities than it would to his campaign.

In reality there is a Kansas City, KS on one side and a much larger Kansas City, MO that the stadium is in on the other side of the river. I choose to reserve my criticism for more important issues to avoid the comparison of our criticism of Trump by them with their picky criticism in our opinion of Obama.

State Rep Garcia (MT) says It Is OK to Shoot Socialists .
Garcia says it is part of the Constitution.
Garcia says socialists are enemies of the free state and “What do we do with our enemies in war?”
“So actually in the Constitution of the United States (if) they are found guilty of being a socialist member you either go to prison or are shot.”

    “Secondly,
Trump doesn’t want to face Joe Biden
and is trying to use Sanders to divide Democrats and weaken Biden if he is the nominee in the fall.
It is the same playbook that Trump and the Russians ran against Hillary Clinton in 2016.
Trump is trying to divide the party, which is why all Democratic primary voters will have to unify,
no matter who wins the nomination.”

Mafia Don: “There’s a revolution going on in this country. I made a positive — I mean a positive revolution. Hispanic American, Asian-American, we have the best numbers we ever had. African-American — the poverty numbers are now reversed and they’re the best they ever had. I don’t know how anybody could possibly beat me with that vote.”
Reese-Jones: “Trump claims no Democrat can beat him with African-Americans as the interview has slipped into total delusion.”

“Kobe Bryant’s helicopter lacked recommended safety features the FAA refuses to require.”
“One of the central premises of Donald Trump’s great reign of error
is that the Federal government over-regulates the private sector,
and in the process strangles innovation, profits and economic expansion. And so, he has fashioned himself as the invincible dragon slayer for private enterprise in his dark suit with red silk satin power tie. By going after agencies like the EPA, the National Weather Service and the USDA on a search and destroy mission he takes aim at what is really basic science in the public interest so as to unshackle free enterprise from any broader societal obligation.”

    Benen:
“One of the most important moments in Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s (R-Calif.) political career
came in late-September 2015, as the then-House majority leader appeared poised to become Speaker of the House. The California Republican’s efforts were derailed, however, when he made the mistake of accidentally telling the truth.
McCarthy appeared on Fox News and acknowledged a fact that everyone knew, but which Republicans weren’t supposed to admit out loud:
the GOP’s taxpayer-financed Benghazi committee was all about the Republicans’ “strategy to fight and win” against Hillary Clinton. Or put another way, it was not a sincere effort to investigate an attack that left four Americans dead.”

In his book Trumpocracy, David Frum identified the cost Republicans are willing to pay when he wrote that, “if conservatives become convinced that they cannot win democratically, they will not abandon conservatism. They will reject democracy.”

That is the challenge we face today. After casting aside policy and ideas in favor of ethnonationalism, the Republican Party is now in the process of rejecting democracy as their only alternative for survival. What that portends, as Appelbaum suggested, are some dark possibilities that will remain, even if Trump is defeated in November.
