“Much of this agenda is sitting in the Senate.
There have been a few things House Democrats and Senate Republicans have agreed on: disaster relief aid, reopening the government after the shutdown, the resolution to end US involvement in the Yemen war, a bill to protect public lands, and a resolution disapproving of Trump’s use of emergency powers.”

Thanks to the bloviated compromised Grim Reaper:
“Congress has passed just 70 bills into law this year. Granted, it still has one more year in its term, but the number pales in comparison to recent past sessions of Congress, which typically see 300-500 bills passed in two years (and that is even a diminished number from the 700-800 bills passed in the 1970s and 1980s).
Ten of those 70 bills this year have been renaming federal post offices or Veterans Affairs facilities, and many others are related to appropriations or extending programs like the National Flood Insurance Program or the 9/11 victim compensation fund.”

In listening to the jobs report for November this morning I noticed it was a robust job increase. A good news for Trump report. I cannot help but think that the job report seems to be measured by whether it is under, equal to or beyond the expectation set. (Ahhh set the expectation low then it is easier to beat! ) Also we are in the holiday extra hiring season. Another thing I noticed is how the number is arrived at by choosing certain places of business to report their numbers and to extrapolate from there. (Realizing DT’s crew has ousted, scrambled and cut department members, how do we know what businesses have been chosen or whether those people in charge are independent of political influence?) Corrections to reports are done a few months later and decreasing the numbers at that time does not have the buzz the initial report has. (Excuse me for being suspicious of everything these days, but the great manipulator, ratings monger might have a scheme in play.) Although holiday hiring may be the biggest factor and there is no manipulation. The problem with this liar Administration is you cannot believe anything you are told.

Maddow’s stunning opening segment last night takes a detailed look at the geo-political situation viz Russia, whose only “economic tentpole” is Oil and Gas, which was massively blocked by PBO sanctions after Putin invaded Ukraine. These sanctions delivered a huge blow, part of a “Major comprehensive international
American-funded response to what Putin had done. A whole suite of punishing consequences.”
(She breaks it down.) Also Putin got knocked out of the G8, Ukraine received a military aid package, and the
bi-partisan European Reassurance Initiative was put in place, by which the Obama administration acknowledged the growing threat to long-term U.S. national security interests in Europe and beyond.
Trump quietly defunded it before saying he thought Putin should be let back into the G7, and has attacked sanctions on Russian oil since July 2015. As did Putin’s long-time buddy, then secretary of state Exxon Tillerson.

Will amazon start paying their taxes?
“Amazon paid $0 in U.S. federal income tax on more than $11 billion in profits before taxes.
It also received a $129 million tax rebate from the federal government.
Amazon’s low tax bill mainly stemmed from the Republican tax cuts of 2017…” (CNBC)

I’ve taken Trump’s advice. This morning when I woke up, I looked at the faucet, the water, the toilet flushes. All of it. I had the water. The good water. We looked at it. It’s water. Good water. All good. Not just dripping. Strong water. Thank you, Stable Genius.

I had good water pressure too, and the pressure was strong. Not limp or weak, but strong, though it takes a minute before it gets hot but it does get hot. But for some odd reason my wife doesn’t like it when my son takes long showers, she’s into that lefty stuff like conservation. But men understand that a shower is more than a shower, it is a place were you can contemplate events that have shaped the person you are. Long live long showers.

I truly believe that Trump will be impeached, this country since its founding has always had fits and starts when it came to making historical changes, but in the end changes were made. Democracy is indeed messy, but it is enduring, and it will always seek truth.

That’s what so frustrating about Joe, he makes errors over the most simplest of things. Its like he constructs the perfect sentence, and then throws in a word at the end that has nothing to do with the sentence he’s just constructed.
