My daughter, now a single mom, is in that situation. She has to pay for after school care. She does get a discount because it is an after school program by her Y. She was able to get reduced dues at her Y and that also gets passed on for what she pays for day care after school. She still pays $40 a week! Yes, it is an excellent program. Still that’s a lot for her to pay!

To take on a massive overhaul of our healthcare system will take years and a ton of persuasion not only of the people but also in Congress. And unless there is a strong component of cost containment, it would mean a tremendous addition for fed budget and fed govt to actually manage.
I don’t have any answers. I just feel like every day this fraud is in office is a day of democracy lost. And to see the GOP as his willing accomplices and co-conspirators just makes everything feel harder.
