Good morning Todville. Wishing everyone a good day.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Trudeau will win again.

How have British been thus far (may there be a 2nd referendum) bamboozled by Brexit?
How the hell is it they (and we) cannot see Putin far right goal to divide and weaken Europe (and the USA)?
We know that over time situations have been engineered in which people are culturally isolated and prevented from processing and engaging with information from the ‘outside’. When one relies only on direct encounters with one’s group and not other systems of knowledge, we’re divided not united, which then leads to bigger geo-political fragmentation. This strategy fragments the U.S. and it fragments the U.K.
–We need a United Kingdom, a United States, a United Americas, and a United European Union.

Why is PP obsessed with PBO? (I wanted to say effer instead of PP.)
I am watching tv now … they are showing a press conference… and the POS can’t get through a presser without not mentioning PBO.

Oh about little russian mafia Don’s: “We have secured the oil”.
(But not the people, our troops, or our allies):
“Some U.S. Troops May Remain In Northeast Syria To Protect Oil Fields.”
“The U.S. may now keep some troops in northeast Syria, Defense Secretary Mark Esper said on Monday. It is the latest in a series of consequential pivots that the Trump administration has made in its Syria policy.
Esper said the troops are needed to secure oil fields from falling into the hands of ISIS and profiting from them, The Associated Press reports. But most recently it was Russian mercenaries, not ISIS fighters,
who tried to seize the oil fields and who were repulsed by U.S. airstrikes…”

Beyond this condemnation, are European countries going to send aid to the Kurds or otherwise help them fight the Turkish army that will kill them and destroy their homes? Since the U.S. is run by a madman, Europe and Canada must stand up and do the right thing for vulnerable populations.

Bernie is a political suicide bomber and a narcissist. If he doesn’t become the Democratic nominee he will not concede nor will he back the nominee. I’ve never liked Bernie nor did I ever see the appeal. The guy isn’t a Democrat, and he pisses and moan every goddamn time the Dems try to do something. I cannot name one piece of significant legislation that he’s ever passed, I’m not talking about joining in on a bill. I’m talking about getting a piece of legislation off the ground and getting it passed. It’s easy for him to say he wants socialism, and a chicken in every pot and a car in every garage. But he’s never put forth an actual plan other than saying oligarchs every fucking time he opens his mouth. This guy is a fucking poser and a fucking fraud.

      The End.

There are many people that get under my sensitive skin. Bernie Sanders and his bridal party, which includes Nina Turner, AOC and her squad, Susan Surandon, etc. But I read a daily reminder pinned in my wall: the point of voting in the general elections of 2020 is to get the MAGA-in-Chief out of the WH. For. Good.

That aside, I am not a Bernie devotee. Not in 2019. And, definitely, not in 2016. In fact, I thought the Senator should have remained in Vermont!

Let’s see now: I don’t want Tulsi Gabbard, nor do I want Bernie, I am still mad at Julian Castro after his attacks on Biden in the second debate.

I still think Biden could repair our foreign damage fastest since the world is familiar with him, but wonder if he is strong enough to win. I like Senator Harris for her lack of ideology and concentration on what can be done to help people the most. That seems like President Obama’s pragmatic approach. Biden/Harris would be a good combo with Kamala stepping up to run for Prez the following four years when people get to see her and know her better.

I am liking Amy Kloboucher and Pete Buddigieg and Cory Booker too. Beto seems too extreme on gun rights even though I totally agree with his stance. I know too many older men who are afraid of their guns being taken away be Democrats as I live in a rural area. Andrew Yang seems too far out there. I like the MT ex Governor but he has too far to go to catch up imo.

Elizabeth Warren is intelligent, can break down complicated issues to be easily understood with her teaching background. What I worry about is her strong ideological stands. I feel like she would have a hard time compromising. I did not like her strong opposition to PBO’s trade solutions. I also prefer including a public option in the ACA with fixes over throwing everything out. I worry she would not be able to enact her policies. Would she be able to get enough votes to win the presidency?

My number one goal is to replace Trump so I will vote accordingly.

(If it’s one thing I detest it’s people who think they’re fooling you, e.g. Trump.)
    About the Prez Candidates…
Since we’re already bollocking them on here:
Let’s look at which candidates are taking money from big corporations = big Pharma et al.
    – The candidates not taking Big Cash scare these corporations to death. So we can expect a faux media commotion plus a truckload of disinformation about Candidates who have not been not bought off.

      On Medicare for All.
This is the best answer I’ve heard.
Employers can dump you off health care any time they want.
      KATY TUR:
“Let me ask you about health care. You know Unions really well…some of the unions have great health care…private care. Are they going to be willing to vote for someone who’s gonna say I want to take your great health care?”
“Absolutely…I was just in Flint and I’ll tell you because of this GM strike, the UAW strike – they went on strike and what did the CEO of GM do a few days into the strike? CUT all their health care! And it reminded them that this “private health care” that we have, this ‘great health care’ – this isn’t some permanent thing! Your boss can take your health care from you at the snap of a fingers. That’s what they did to these striking workers, that’s what they could do at any time. If it is part of our law that says that great health care is yours – simply because you live here. You’re a citizen of this country, you are covered. As opposed to General Motors or Walmart or whatever could just wake up tomorrow and say you know what? You DON’T have it. Just like these camera people here I was just talking to. This used to be Union here, Unions workers at this Network. Now they’re not Union. They don’t have a choice. They have no security when it’s private profit-making health care. We need health care that is not set up so that a few companies can make billions of dollars in profits. Why can’t we do this? EVERY other country does this!! What is wrong with us that we can’t figure this out? To say that it’s going to be this, or that, or whatever – well that’s not true with those other countries! THEY pull it off. We should have the same thing.”

Dear mr. president:⁣ ⁣ This is a photograph of President Obama conducting an interview with CBS correspondent Bill Plante in 2015 in Selma, Alabama. Both President Obama and President Bush were there that day to mark the 50th anniversary of the civil rights marches that honored the sacrifice and bravery of the men and women who bled there in support of voting rights for all African Americans. John Lewis, now one of the most respected members of Congress, was nearly beaten to death that day in March 1965.⁣ ⁣ I purposely framed my photograph of President Obama's interview in the museum by placing a symbol of that racist era in the foreground. I thought it was a pertinent contrast on how far we had come in 50 years since in the background was our first African-American President of the United States. But it was also a stark reminder that not that long ago we had white men who murdered African-Americans just because of the color of their skin. It was lynching, plain and simple. ⁣ ⁣ The dictionary has only one definition for this word: "to put to death, especially by hanging, by mob action and without legal authority.”⁣ ⁣ No person is above the law. Including you. Any reasonable person will conclude that you have committed many high crimes and misdemeanors during your presidency. There is but one recourse according to our Constitution. Congress must investigate these high crimes and misdemeanors to determine whether you should be impeached.⁣ ⁣ You are not worthy to use the word “lynching” to complain about your own political troubles that you alone have caused. It is a disgrace. Don’t ever use that word again.⁣ ⁣ Regards, a citizen⁣

So, Mittens Romney has/had a secret twitter account I see. How so un-tough, how squeamish, how galling in a sense. He ran to become the most powerful person in the free world, and he didn’t have the courage to put his name on a freaking twitter account? He is so unserious, so nonconfrontational almost to a fault. One can imagine him sitting in his drawing room in his mansion in his gaberdine slacks and cashmere top, full of twelve-year-old scotch and drunk off his ass wishing above all else that he had a spine.

You do know what comes after “lynching,” don’t you? You do know where Trump is headed, don’t you? You do know where his destination will be, don’t you? I mean one does not go to these lengths without finally using perhaps the most dreaded and provocative word in the English language.

I was sitting R/Ting all of the tweets that used the trending “#Lynching” word in them, against the monster sitting in 1600, but I’m feeling so sick to my stomach that I have to do something more useful to get him the hell out of the White House. Like donate to Dem candidates and help make sure more Democrats are registered to vote, as well as keeping in constant touch with my senators and rep.

That monster needs to be gone by this weekend. I’m also praying for the members of Congress every day, to get him removed as soon as they can.

But the real truth is I hope he flips out totally – he’s very close to that – and has to be carted away, TODAY.
