If Epstein wasn’t on suicide watch and he was in general population he wouldn’t get checked on every 30 minutes. Even if the officers did make their 30 minute rounds Epstein still had a time frame to commit suicide.
When an inmate is placed on “Suicide Watch” that means that an officer or another designated person will check on the inmate periodically. When Epstein arrived at lockup he was given a full psychological screening, at which time his present mental state was assessed and any prior psychological issues were also assessed. With Epstein being a high profile inmate we was probably watched more closely than other inmates. The only way you can stop an inmate from committing suicide is to strap them down in a bed and watch them twenty-four hours a day which is impractical when you have to also monitor over a thousand inmates. And finally, if an inmate his hell bent on killing themselves, at some point in time they will succeed no matter what measures are taken.
How did he do it quietly? This is a human life so i don’t say it lightly.
–The powers that be have Epstein’s client history book. So I don’t get the “sigh of relief” thing.
–Suggest find Maxwerll and bring her in before she disappears too.
-Someone in that frame of mind is going to do everything NOT to get noticed.
-There is no sigh of relief, the book is in the hands of the prosecutor, even if charges aren’t filed those that in the book will be questioned.
