Watching it on and off … why are Yang and Gabbard still in the race? I dunno what they are hoping to achieve.

      • August 1, 2019 at 12:12 pm

What I noticed was the level of ignorance of twitter viewers. The candidates with the most executive experience with the exception of Vice President Joe Biden are polling the lowest – Bullock and Inslee. Viewers seem to be treating this election, the most serious ever, like a reality TV show.

He has to be able to respond to Trump when he piles on Biden just like President Obama had to face HRC in 2008 which helped him be a better debater when it came to McCain.

Mitch McConnell calling senate to confirm 19 judges before recess …
PP has put more than 130 judges on federal bench so far (MSNBC – with Air Member now).

I hope more billboards with MoscowM … go up in Kentucky.

Switched on the Debate, cos just had to hear Dee Dee saaang! Thereafter, the candidates were ushered on stage, like some fantastical musical. VP Joey forgot his mic was live when shaking hands w/ Kamala. Darn VP Joey, you should know better. “Go easy on me, kid”, that was awkward & when did a candidate for President become “kid”? Kamala’s expression was priceless. That polite-shocked look we all know too well. 😏

I’m sure Joe Biden was trying to be funny, that’s just the way he is.Like him or not, that’s just Joe being Joe. This is why I refuse to watch these debates, honestly it alot of bologna.. And I don’t think he meant any disrespect to Kamala by calling her kid. People ought to relax .

I love VP Joey. I just want him to be more savvy going forward. Not take away from himself, just be acute that this is heck of a different times & issues. MSM has him, & all Dem candidates, in their eyesight. So, just saying, VP Joey has to tred carefully. Watch simple things like live mics.

A few reflections from the day ….

Regarding debates and other events, actions by Dems. I remember the Summer and Fall and Winter of 2007 quite well. It was a fight every step of the way and remained so even after it was obvious Barack Obama was going to be the Dem Presidential Candidate.

Four current candidates have what it takes to crush Trump. Others should turn their attention to the Senate or their State Governorship, soon.

    Goodnight TOD …

So some are saying the idiots on stage last night attack President Obama more then they did Trump? Wow! How much sense does that make.? They have learn nothing from 2016 have they? The Hillary-Bernie battle that went on for to dare long. Maybe the person who put these clown shows on need to go talk to them. Tell them that most Americans would rather have Barack Obama back in the White House then any of them. I didn’t watch any of that show last night, but I’m still with Joe Biden. Harris just have turn me off for some reason.

Don’t apologize, who else but an idiot would attack one of the most successful presidents in our lifetime. I didn’t even waste my time watching the debates. I basically know everyone’s agenda, Its a small variation of President Obama’s agenda.

          Right on. Don.

I didn’t watch any of the debate shows because no meaningful debates can be had with so many people and so little time. Furthermore, the idea of attacking each other on pointless differences only benefits Moscow Mitch’s boss.

The candidates were pathetic based on the reruns I saw. They lost focus on Orange Man and concentrated on their brethren on stage! What was that about?

  24. August 1, 2019 at 8:32 am

She said that she could not believe how the Democrats were going after President Obama, they will need him and specially Michelle to campaign for them if they are the nominee. I worry that Kamala’s “I wrote a good healthcare bill” statement was an admission that she thinks writing one on her own is superior to the ACA that involved every organization and people involved as well as the customers. I wish Biden would mention the involvement of everyone and the comprehensive nature of ACA.

Where there’s a group of people all seated facing each other and the host asks very good, very deep question that are thoughtful and challenging and sometimes just fun. There is respectful listening by everyone and you learn a lot about the craft. It’s stimulating.

If Stephen Miller gets his way:
“Scandal-plagued Border Patrol would be in charge of asylum interviews…”
“Border Patrol agents are not trained to conduct these interviews.
The credible-fear process is deceptively complex, resting on a multi-layered combination of concrete statutory language and shifting interpretation of that language by both executive branch officials and judges.
USCIS staff run the interviews because they are specialists in these complexities.

    • August 1, 2019 at 12:12 pm

“Agents have been accused of sexual abuse and murder….
emails also show that Trump’s senior staff continue to privately support the idea that the harsher the U.S. treats people arriving to the border, the fewer future migrants it will have to interface with at all….
This is the talent pool from which Miller hopes to pull personnel to be flash-trained in federal asylum law and then empower to evaluate whether migrants’ fears of violence are credible enough to merit a full hearing.”

    1) there never was a pure white race.
    2) there is no such thing as race.
About Epstein and his psychosis that his genes must be spread around the world – some kind of genetic white utopia. The fallacy of eugenics is that humanity can be “improved” by breeding white people of a certain IQ. So here we have Epstein”s excuses for his evil life’s work = an international business predating on young girls, ruining their lives + white racism based on gross faulty assumptions.

    • August 1, 2019 at 1:42 pm

      National Geo (posts #65 yesterday):
Confirm yet again that there is not now, and NEVER WAS a pure white race.
We know now that the so-called “white race’ is a mishmash of 3 human populations:
      -African hunter-gatherer (45,000 years ago)
      -Neolithic farmers (8,000 years ago),
-Yemnaya from the Russian steppe (4700 years ago on cusp of Bronze age. Not the slavic Russians of today, the Yemnaya were Asian.)
-Plus a tiny sliver of neanderthal genetics.

    • August 1, 2019 at 1:43 pm

Lightness and darkness of skin is caused by natural selection (effects of climate, environment, etc) that is
      happening all the time.
And btw there is No such thing as race.
We are not separate biological entities. There is only variation.
Variation of hair, skin, nose, lips, phenotypic things used to describe non-existent ‘race’.
We are One species – the result of history and adaptation.

All of the candidates running, pretty much agree on the same thing, and pitting the candidates against each other is mainly to give the pundits something to talk about the next day. They could care less about policies. They proved that in 2016 when they constantly said that HRC ran a bad campaign and focused on her emails, while showing every vile trump rally on tv. They will build you up as a candidate, tear you down and throw you under the bus in a minute. How many more of these reality shows called debates, do we have to endure?

Really? We have the largest military spending in the entire world!! Why???? And that fucking debt and deficit they drone on about when a Democrat is in charge. Vote every last one of these dangerous frauds out!! They do nothing to advance and enhance the lives of the American people they are supposed to represent.

Can someone help me understand why my tweets no longer appear? Has something changed on how to copy a tweet here?

    Asking for myself.

    Thank you.

    In the last 2 years:
“Pedro Arriago-Santoya was the fourth person to die at Stewart (Detention Center).”
An immigration judge had ordered Arriago-Santoya be deported in June.
Instead, he was transferred to Stewart on July 10 as his removal proceedings continued.
Two weeks later he was pronounced dead at a Georgia hospital….
So, there is not a whole lot of information available at this point about the death of Mr. Arriago-Santoya. All we have is the press statement that ICE put out, that a lot of media outlets are unfortunately relying on, which is really a mistake in light of the pattern of ICE lies when it comes to abuse and deaths of immigrants at immigration detention centers, including at Stewart.
What we do know is that he complained of pain and medical issues, and at some point he was transferred to a hospital. But what led to the medical issues that he experienced is something that we still do not know. And, you know, we hope and very much demand an independent investigation into the circumstances of this death, as well as the three other deaths that have happened at the Stewart Detention Center, two of them by suicide, where men with mental health issues were placed in solitary confinement for prolonged periods. In one case, a 27-year-old, Jeancarlo Jimenez-Joseph, was left in solitary for 19 days before he hung himself. And then, very similar circumstances, Efraín de la Rosa, a 40-year-old man, was held in solitary confinement for 21 days. He also had mental health issues, and he hung himself, as well.”

    -Stop the cover up.
-START by getting the children out.
