Needed it after watching the first series of Ava’s movie. All we had time for tonight. VERY difficult to watch.

VERY difficult to watch…keep watching. These made me smile, too. Made me long for the days when we had a smart and caring and capable President…just love the interactions he has with people. They love him and he loves them right back. Seems simple enough. We don’t even have THAT anymore.

“House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff said that he would like Mueller to voluntarily testify, but he will subpoena
the former special counsel if he refuses.”
SCHIFF: “Well I was disappointed to see during his statement the other day such a profound reluctance to testify. Now, I understand that but I think he has one last service to perform. It’s not enough merely to speak for 10 minutes and say I’m not going to answer questions for the Congress and the American people. There are a great many things that are not in the report. We want to find out what happened to those counterintelligence findings that were sent back to headquarters. What other things did you learn during the investigation that ought to concern us in terms of whether the president is vulnerable to influence from Russia. Does the president still — did you find evidence whether the president still intends to build a Trump Tower in Moscow? Is that why that financial inducement why the president can’t criticize Putin or take adequate steps to protect our elections? There are any number of questions that we have every right, the American people have every need to have answered here.
So”, I hope that Bob Mueller will understand, as painful as it may be, and as much as it may subject him to further abuse by the White House, he has a final duty here to perform, like any other witness, and it’s my hope that he will do so, and it’s my hope that he will do so voluntary.”

Yeah, well, who are they kidding?! If him or anyone else in the administration wants to politicize or demean or question ……. or anything else regarding the military, they will do it in a heartbeat. It has been proven beyond a tiny doubt that rules or norms mean NOTHING to them. Do whatever they please at anytime. 😥😳😣🤬

President Obama at VTEX 2019 in Brazil:
    (transcribing parts)
“What makes me happy is when my children are sitting with me and we are laughing, or when Michelle and I are taking a walk and holding hands. It is not money that is making me happy but we teach ourselves that our measure of success is the more we have, the harder we hold on to it, the better we must be, the higher our status is. And I think that mindset is part of the reason why…we have difficulty creating more equal societies. It’s not that we need more stuff, the wealthiest people in the world they can’t spend all the money they have – I can’t spend all the money I have. So it’s not that you don’t have enough, it’s that we’ve been taught that somehow that’s the measure of our worth and our status. And we have to redesign our minds to say that we are at our most powerful and influential when we are able to help others.
If I can suddenly make sure that ten other children are also getting opportunity not just my mine, what a great powerful thing that is. But we don’t reward that, we don’t think in those terms. And I think that it’s very important for there to be – you were mentioning boldness in the beginning – I think there’s a revolution of values that has to take place. I believe in markets and I believe in capitalism, I believe in the efficiencies that create and produce wealth. So I don’t want to destroy the innovation and the creativity and the freedom that comes about from the market system. But I also think that we have to design those systems in ways that don’t destroy our values completely, that allow us to say we have market based system, it is wonderful but we want to make sure that everybody is a part of it. We want to have the innovation that allows us to create these amazing technologies but we want it to be environmentally sustainable. Because it’s not going to do us much good to have really wonderful apps and great, you know, virtual reality when the actual reality of the planet is getting hotter, and the oceans are rising and the forests are being cut down and we can’t breath. (cheering) So finding that balance I think is something that we should expect from our leaders, and it can’t just come from our political leaders. It also has to come from our business leaders. It also has to come from our religious leaders, and the leaders in our non-profit sector. We all have to take responsibility for the next generation in ways we have not done so before.”

    • June 3, 2019 at 10:12 am

      President Obama:
“The more people, the bigger the pool of talent, the more successful. If Afro-Brazilians are not included, you are leaving talent on the field. If women are not included you are leaving talent on the field. In your self interest it is good to include everyone.”

    • June 3, 2019 at 11:35 am

President Obama: “There’s an instinct on the part of people around you who want to protect you from failure. And that includes even Michelle. I had to say to her look if it doesn’t work out it will be OK. And I think that when I talk to young people now everywhere I go, I always encourage them not to be afraid to try something just because it hasn’t been done before, because even if they don’t succeed they will learn something from it, it will toughen them up, it will prepare them for the next phase of their journey.”

“Just arrived in the United Kingdom. The only problem is that @CNN is the primary source of news available from the U.S. After watching it for a short while, I turned it off. All negative & so much Fake News, very bad for U.S. Big ratings drop. Why doesn’t owner @ATT do something?”

Just my personal opinion, I do think I would have worn heels that weren’t “tart trotters” as I have heard them described, when meeting HMQ. HMQ is going to have a stiff neck looking up so far at Melania, a power move by Melania, being able to tower over others and look down on them. To me Melania is disgusting, disrespectful, rigid, phony, just saying.

SADIQ KHAN, Mayor of London for ‘The Observer’:
“It’s un-British to roll out the red carpet for Donald Trump.”
“I’m not talking about Vladimir Putin or Kim Jong-un. These are the actions of the leader of our closest ally,
the president of the United States of America. This is a man who tried to exploit Londoners’ fears following a horrific terrorist attack on our city, amplified the tweets of a British far-right racist group, denounced as fake news robust scientific evidence warning of the dangers of climate change, and is now trying to interfere shamelessly in the Conservative party leadership race by backing Boris Johnson because he believes it would enable him to gain an ally in Number 10 for his divisive agenda.
Donald Trump is just one of the most egregious examples of a growing global threat.
The far right is on the rise around the world, threatening our hard-won rights and freedoms and the values that have defined our liberal, democratic societies for more than seventy years. Viktor Orbán in Hungary, Matteo Salvini in Italy, Marine Le Pen in France and Nigel Farage here in the UK are using the same divisive tropes of the fascists of the 20th century to garner support, but are using new sinister methods to deliver their message. And they are gaining ground and winning power and influence in places that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.”

    • June 3, 2019 at 12:39 pm

      Mayor Sadiq Khan:
“They are intentionally pitting their own citizens against one another, regardless of the horrific impact in our communities.
They are picking on minority groups and the marginalised to manufacture an enemy – and encouraging others to do the same.
And they are constructing lies to stoke up fear and to attack the fundamental pillars of a healthy democracy – equality under the law, the freedom of the press and an independent justice system. Trump is seen as a figurehead of this global far-right movement. Through his words and actions, he has given comfort to far-right political leaders, and it’s no coincidence that his former campaign manager, Steve Bannon, has been touring the world, spreading hateful views and bolstering the far right wherever he goes.”

    • June 3, 2019 at 12:39 pm

That’s why it’s so un-British to be rolling out the red carpet this week for a formal state visit for a president whose divisive behaviour flies in the face of the ideals America was founded upon – equality, liberty and religious freedom.”

-Britain, the number one vehicle of your demise is Brrrrrexit. Which coincided nicely with our 2016 little russian election.

      It’s about damn time.
They should have started on this when the 1st person called b/4 them refused to show up. Opening the Hearing & closing it up by show an empty desk was just Not what the Current Media would have covered. They should have left the Desk/Chair empty and then proceeded with their hearings & at every opportuned time educated the audience why, what & were going on.

    Color me surprise!

George Nader, a Lebanese American businessman, was a key witness to a 2017 Seychelles meeting between Erik Prince, a Trump supporter who founded the private security firm Blackwater, and a Russian financier that drew the scrutiny of the special counsel. Nader has been charged with transporting images of child pornography — a charge he was also convicted of 28 years ago
