I was out in my garden working when I just got word on our family app that my daughter in Munich just delivered her second baby boy! Moments like these I love the new technologies. That makes #7 grandchild for me from my four kids! I go to Munich to meet him in May. His older brother was born last February. She was married Xmas time three years ago. Three years in a row traveling to Munich. She is in a rush to have her family since she is 39 now.
Three years ago over the Xmas holidays my daughter married a wonderful German man. She was having eighteen family members come over to Munich for a destination wedding. Xmas was in Munich followed by the wedding in Salzburg and a week in The Austrian Alps. There were many from Germany, friends from the US and many from Turkey, a true International wedding. There were so many logistics to arrange like housing, hotels, transportation, arrival and departure times, wedding events. I thought it would be impossible, but they pulled it off with the help of their friends. She set up a What’s App group text-like place for the eighteen US family members originally to keep us apprised of logistics for place, time and events during our European stay. I think she had similar apps for her other groups. Example she appointed friends who wanted to help them to meet at a train station and greet those that needed to take the train from Munich to Salzburg help them buy tickets and get off and on the train. All this info was sent out on the family app and there were responses and questions from family posted there too.
Since the wedding we have kept the app going and send out announcements and photos on it. I did not set it up, but really like it.

Right now the Trump Administration is doing what it does the best…throwing a lot of obstacles in the road…each exploding, creating a smoke screen….which changes the narrative…i see there are a lot of calls for the House Dems to act…i have even made a few myself…but i am beginning to think that we have to remain focused…the House has a plan…and they are moving forward with this plan on their own timetable…and they are not responding to every crisis that this administration puts forth..the House Dems cannot chase Trump down every dark alley…they have to remain focused on the task at hand…The Intel …Oversight and other committes are doing the work of oversight…the House members, in addition to their committee assignments, are in their districts staying connected to those who elected them..passing bills that if DEMS had the Senate would benefit all America…
Mitch McConnel sees the handwriting on the wall…his greatest hope is to stack the court with racist idealogues who will deliver the power to them…
