…According to a report from The Washington Post published Friday, Trump has uttered 7,549 “false or misleading claims” during the first 700 days of his presidency. …

During his tenure in office, Trump has claimed 594 times that the investigation led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller is a witch hunt, or that there was no collusion between his campaign and the Russians. … http://bit.ly/2CrXTQb

“Everything Trump has ever been involved in is being investigated: his company, his charity, his presidential campaign, his inauguration, his presidency. It’s like he has the Midas touch, but instead of gold everything he touches turns to crimes.”
    –Trevor Noah
“The president was dealt another blow when his personal charity, the Trump Foundation, was shut down when prosecutors effectively said it acted as a slush fund for Trump’s personal spending. … Trump used his charity to pay for lawsuits, which then prompted a lawsuit that ended the charity. At this point he’s going to have to start a new charity to pay for the lawsuit over the old charity. They can call it March of Crimes.”

“I just think it’s beautiful that, even though he’s busy with the presidency, Trump still makes time for his lifelong passion: driving organizations into the ground.”
      –James Corden
“Trump is going all-in on this wall. Last night he wrote, ‘Democrats are saying loud and clear that they do not want to build a concrete wall. But we are not building a concrete wall—we are building artistically-designed steel slats so you can easily see through it.’ A border wall made of slats that you can see through is called a “fence.” He’s gone from ‘We’re gonna build a wall and Mexico’s gonna pay for it’ to ‘We’re gonna build a Burning Man art installation and we’re all gonna pay for it together.'”

Good morning, TOD. Three days to go. Hope all of you are well and able to enjoy your holidays with family and friends. We are having a rather low key Christmas this year and must say I am enjoying it. Husband and I decided to not exchange gifts–a relief for both of us. Our daughter asked that we keep the gifts to her and the kids at a minimum. Instead, doing things that make memories…….tickets for movies, cooking class for our granddaughter, etc. We are going to her house (VA) tomorrow. Have a retirement party to attend here tonight. Our church no longer does the BIG cookie event on C. Eve so I haven’t felt the need to do any cookies. We don’t need to be eating them anyway. Christmas blessings to all of you and your family! Cannot even begin to imagine not having this place to come to each day. Thank you, NW, for keeping our doors open. Chips (and Danny), we miss you so very much!

**The tweet from Pretty Foot is ‘spot on.’ 😦

My vote is for Condola Rashad, broadway actress and daughter of Phylicia Rashad or Renee Elise Goldsberry the original Angelica Schuyler from Hamilton. However each has a lack of height problem: Condola is 5’8” and Renee is 5’7”.

Remember when we Americans were breathlessly hoping for people to climb over, tunnel under, break through the Big Beautiful Wall Russia built in Berlin?

Walls, like the Iron Curtain and later the Berlin Wall, may be initially built to keep people and ideas out but then they exist to keep people in. Ideas filter in anyway. There should be no place in America for building such walls. It is profoundly wrong on many levels. The history of the 20th century should show us that.
