Koch protegĆ©e and puppet Scott Walker reminds me of that mummy in the movies that keeps lumbering on. Could he be any more anti-democratic and amassing all the power to the Governor’s office. Trump’s mini-pharaohs must go.

So Little Lindsey suppose to be upset about what is going on with the missing journalists, if I could tell LL anything I would tell him to go talk to his lying racist, sexists, money grabbing golf buddy how upset he claim to be. What ashame the United States have a President who is trying to cover up a murder for Saudi Arabia. The journalists was a Saudi his life don’t matter, if it was a white journalists Trump would be all over tweeter ( I guess). When it comes to MONEY, even being white would come in second to Trump.

I think that’s a great idea. I wonder if the League of Women Voters might get interested. I’ve been so disappointed in their lack of interest in that mammoth problem of vote suppression in this country. I suspect that the organization is not so independent as they want to be seen as. Hmmm.

I have to say it out loud, right now. I will not be truly content and pleased unless we take the House AND the Senate. The thought of McConnell still in control there makes me crazy. He does tremendous damage to our country DAILY. We need to push hard!

The rising debt is a direct result of the tax cuts for the rich. It has nothing to do with entitlement programs mostly used by the poor and working class. It’s disgusting that Republicans are pushing to cut these programs.

I’ve tried the early voting thing but it just doesn’t do anything for me, but my wife she loves to vote early so sometimes I go with her. I love the feel of going to the polls on voting day and standing in line and casting my vote. I love standing in line and trying to figure out who’s voting for who.

    • October 16, 2018 at 1:34 pm

I’m the same way!! Everyone I know votes early by mail but I love getting in line early and watching everyone and thanking the poll workers. Crazy, I know.

    • 69 jacquelineoboomer
      October 16, 2018 at 3:02 pm

I used to love that, too (I mail in now), but my favorite year was when my son and his oldest daughter (she was not old enough to vote then) and I went to the polling place together. My son kept kidding me that he couldn’t tell me which candidate he voted for (2008, presidential), because it was “private.” My granddaughter came along and watched us vote, and I asked the poll worker to give her an “I voted” sticker to wear. When we got outside in the Florida sunshine, my son started to sing, loudly, a line or two from “God Bless America” right on the sidewalk in front of the voters. So I had my hopes up on his choice. Finally, when President Obama WON later that night, he told me he’d voted for him and even though I knew he would, I cried. And also during that first announcement, the same granddaughter was with me and hugged me. And after President Obama won the second time, coincidentally she was visiting me on election night when the announcement came, and she looked over at me and said, “Crying? AGAIN?” #GoodTimes

Remember when McConnevil ugly lied by saying the Dec 2017 tax cut would lower the deficit? Now he is “disturbed” by his party’s current exploding deficit (+17% since 2012. PBO cut it by two-thirds and GOP was still moaning). Today McC is giving it the same old routine about cutting SS and Medicare being the ‘only’ recourse. By the time climate change is eviscerating our species, GOP in Congress will be in the ground. If only we wouldn’t go on letting (the Saudis), big oil and empty tools like McConnevil decide the fate of our world.

The animals in the Saudi Consulate took Khashoggi into another room and cut him up while he was still alive.
“The source said Tubaigy started to cut up Khashoggi’s body on a table in the study while the journalist was still alive — and the killing took seven minutes….Tubaigy put on earphones and listened to music as he” did so.” ā€œThere was no attempt to interrogate him. They had come to kill him.ā€
“The screaming stopped when Khashoggi was injected with an unknown substance.” (Getty, raw story)
What did this man possibly, possibly have done to deserve this death beyond all imagining?

The culture of base cruelty to human beings: We must end it right here in the U.S.
Re-unite the children and families being tortured by Trump. Get him out of office before he feels empowered to bump people off in our
own country. Clearly there are no limits to what psychopaths can do.

    Giant Trump deficits accomplished…Check!
Oh very disturbing: McConnevil keeps saying the (+17% deficit since 2012) created by his own party is “very disturbing”. Yeh we’re damn disturbed. And disturbed about McConnell who is funded by Russia issuing the predictable threat to cut the SS and Medicare that Americans have earned. But we know their game and the Fact is Medicare + Medicaid = 4% of GDP.
FACT: “OVER HALF of the deficit comes from the Bush ($488 billion) and Trump tax cuts ($164 billion) – with military and war costs responsible for more than the remaining half.” Trump tax cuts predicted to cost $3 to $7 trillion over ten years and estimated $5.5 trillion in revenue loss. (CRFB). Corporate profits keep going up while corporate tax revenues have dropped by 31%. Kushner didn’t pay any taxes and guessing similar Trump.
    …S.T.F.U. McConnevilovich.
