Be aware:
At this point in time Kavanaugh is just trying to keep his D.C. judgeship.

Senator Merkley’s lawsuit to halt Kavanaugh confirmation process names :
Republicans President Donald Trump, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, who it says
âworked with the Trump White House to conceal documents,â as well as Kavanaugh lawyer William Burck, Julie Adams, Secretary of the Senate; and Michael Stenger, Senate Sergeant at Arms as defendants.
Merkley’s suit charges:
1. The Defendants conspired to conceal from the Senate and public all of the documents from Kavanaughâs three most formative professional years, as Staff Secretary in the George W. Bush White House.
2. The Defendants conspired to conceal 100,000 documents from Kavanaughâs time of service as a lawyer in the White House Counselâs Office under President George W. Bush. The Defendants empowered Mr. William Burck, a partisan lawyer with profound conflicts of interest, to utilize executive privilege on behalf of President Trump to block Senate access to the relevant documents.
3. The Defendants conspired to further limit access to documents by utilizing the services of William Burck to label 141,000 pages âCommittee Confidential,â limiting the ability of Senators to speak about them and to communicate with experts and members of the public about the contents.

On 28th of September President Obama is coming to Kolding, Denmark, only about 100 miles from where I live,
but I was not able to get a ticket for that
arrangement – so off to Norway!
En passent: I have for some time wanted to buy something ‘Nike’, because I respect their attitude, in this diskussion about kneeling, I have been following, mostly here – normally I never wear something with a logo on.
But yesterday at the Nike store on Karl Johan Gatan here in Oslo, I brought a tee shirt, which had – besides the Nike logo – an emty space in white, so I wrote: O + O, i.e. Obama in Oslo.
I wore it today.
All this is to tell You, that I will also be wearing it, when I in 2021 plan to visit the President Barack Obama Center and the South Side of Chicago in generel.

I’m up at 3am, it’s now 4am and can’t sleep. I have a lot on my mind, but am thinking of Dr. Ford and worry if she will be ok. I am so worried about this wonderful country and wonder how many of its citizens are really aware of how dangerously close we are to authoritarianism. As I teach my students about how we actually became a country, I am made even ore aware of how close President Obama brought us to those ideals we fought a revolution to protect and how far we are from those ideals we are today. President Obama gives me hope, but right now, I’m closer to despair. That’s what 3am does to you.
