Congrats, Criquet! I’m with you, Mr. President, although there are a few horrible women in the current administration I cannot stand too: Sara HS, Betsy DeVos, Kirstjen Nielsen, Kellyanne Conway, Ivanka (Mob Princess), Melania (Mob Wife)…

-the idea is we won’t cognize a takeover in real time by Russia and the extreme right.
With a million brainwashing TV Ads every year and umpteen Fantasy and Superhero shows + Sinclair and Fox disinformation:

I saw a posting on FB that said Trump ordered American embassies in Africa not to use any funds to help pay for Obama’s travel expenses. They have also cut the normal former President expense fund that applies to Obama.

When I think about what PBO endured, how he pressed on, and all that he did for us despite egregious GOP obstruction and their wholesale contempt for norms, rules and protocols. Their plans to wreck the economy, refusing to pass Jobs bills for 8 years, their contempt for all but the wealthy. And their endless slobbering over Putin. When Trump was elected they couldn’t wait 3 minutes to give Putin the go-ahead to take down the U.S. Republic and pave the way for a Russian takeover.
    PRESCIENT AMERIKA:
“Exactly 30 years ago, in the midst of the Cold War, ABC aired a seven-night, 14-and-a-half-hour miniseries depicting life 10 years after the Soviet Union manipulates the presidential election as meek and deflated Americans shrug. “Amerika,” was heavily criticized at the time for peddling the histrionic premise of a bloodless coup. And while much of the production remains implausible, its core message is more relevant today than ever: They did it because we let them.” (https://www.politico.com/…/the-1987-tv-miniseries-that-predicted-a-russian-takeover-.)

Both! I do think the higher levels of the Republican leadership were involved. Especially since McConnell refused to let President Obama even have hearings on the nomination of Merrick Garland for the Supreme Court, claiming he wanted to wait until after the election.

Plus when HRC was ahead and thought to be the winner…..ALL GOP House and Senate were saying they would NOT allow her to set a SCOTUS if they remained the majority. They would leave it at 8 or if other SCOTUS stepped down they would not allow her to nominate anyone. They were losing their minds in fear she would win or she could change the make up of the SC.

    No brainer

    https://www.vox.com/2018/7/20/17590908/gop-corrupt-dnc-platform-2018-midterms

interestingly, the corruption message seems particularly effective with white voters without college educations, while a focus on jobs and health care works well with nonwhite voters and supporters of Hillary Clinton. Per the poll:

In a match-up between Republican and Democratic narratives, a Democratic anti-corruption frame performs as well overall as a putting families first frame centered on healthcare and the economy. In both narrative match-ups, Democrats hold the upper hand by 8 points, 54 – 46 percent, which is a 4-point gain over the generic congressional ballot. However, the two message frames arrive there by different means. The putting families first healthcare and jobs focused frame is relatively stronger with non-white voters, white college-educated voters, and voters who went for Clinton in 2016. The anti-corruption frame is stronger with white non-college voters and those who voted for Trump — and may help make inroads with these kinds of voters in districts where Democratic candidates need more crossover support.

      • July 20, 2018 at 5:31 pm

Remember when Trump’s campaign at the RNC weakened the GOP platform on aid to Ukraine (Trump was exposed as helping Putin)?
-Well 7 months ago the U.S. State Department agreed to provide defensive weapons to Ukraine.
(That decision was to provide Ukraine with “enhanced defensive capabilities” which Putin obviously didn’t want. Now he gets his wish.)
Not hard to figure out that Putin wants to knock off all the little countries around Russia in order to remake the Soviet Union. And stick his finger up NATO’s nose. So now as planned, he has Agent Orange 45 in his pocket to help him do that.

WOW, no wonder Spitzer got found out. I think when MSNBC did a recent profile of Spitzer It revealed that Roger Stone was talking to her and she told him about her “John” but she didn’t know his name but knew what he did, or something like that.

TRUMP ADMINISTRATION ORDERED U.S. EMBASSY IN PRETORIA NOT TO ASSIST BARACK OBAMA DURING VISIT TO SOUTH AFRICA

…Instructions from Washington ensured that none of the U.S. embassy staff assisted the former president, whose visit “was mainly arranged and coordinated by the Nelson Mandela and Obama foundations,” breaking the longstanding diplomatic norm of providing support to any visiting American leader, regardless of their party affiliation. … https://secondnexus.com/news/trump-administration-not-assist-obama/
