President Obama is my forever POTUS!

  2. July 2, 2018 at 9:15 pm

For certain, President Obama is the last LEGITIMATE occupant of the Presidency. ZERO doubt about it, as has been the case for those paying attention since 8 Nov 2016.

    Also ….

… this is what you get when you don’t vote and your mortal enemy is gleefully partying on your Election night.

I heard the argument about abolish ICE. I even think that starting over in that area is not a bad idea, but I think it is a losing argument. People associate needing ICE to protect them from the invasion of the terrible immigrants. Fear is powerful whereas facts and decency do not rate as high in vote getting. It is imperative we win these midterms. Let’s not blow it by going too extreme. It falls right into DT’s description of the Dems wanting open borders.

Please know am not downing Dems, we need every single one, but I believe we need to shake all out of their complacency, built thru years of thinking if they follow so-called rules, which have morphed into self-preservation, they can bargain away certain bills w/out undue fight for constituents. Platitudes w/ wax filled ears. These are different times, the heart & soul of America is at stake. 😯

OK, pardon me for my laughter & angst. Ahem! So, iQ45 is promising “the very best people … I promise you … ” for supreme court. Hello! MoFo, I demand your long form birth certificate, your univ transcripts, your high school transcripts, your transcripts going all the way back to preschool. Methinks your only degree is your half degree separation from fascists, Nazis, racists, & all the disgusts. Yes, produce your “papers” just so the last of the gullibles have more proof that you’re deep in the latrine w/ these so-called “very best people”.

Go ahead w/ your bad form & lip sync God-Bless-America Milli Vanilli-style, while you & “your best people” dismantle-law while yodeling patriotism. Yes, we still demand your long form birth certificate and your transcripts and your taxes. UnSister Sarah, where are the above mentioned documents? Uh-huh. Taxes, transcripts, long form BC, & illegal immigration documents for “I Don’t Care Do You” wife # whatever? And all the whatevers. Yup, US is never going to be annexed Crimea-style just cos you, iQ45, is compromised. That’s your shit to sort out w/ a long needed psychiatric facility, not the country’s arena.

OK, am going to step away & breathe, deep breaths. G’night & Kick major ass tomorrow, y’all! Bless!

Good morning, TOD! Seems like it has been forever since I’ve posted here. Still wrapped up in “Life 101” — health issues and home reconstruction… Hope to move back into my home next month. Health waxes and wains; best medicine I’ve had all year is meeting Judith in mid-June and a mini TOD meet up last Friday.

From left to right: Judith, Nancie, Prettyfoot, me, Terrie

“Trump administration must consider on an individual basis whether immigrants who come to the U.S. seeking asylum represent a flight risk
or a danger to their community before they can be detained if they’ve proven a credible fear of persecution.”
-Trump cannot use indefinite detention to deter asylum seekers.

Tomorrow in Moscow Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov will meet with delegation of US Congressmen to “resume relations”. heh.
Also announced: Putin and Trump child of Putin will meet alone without their aides on July 16th before the official meeting. Remembering last May when Lavrov + Kislyak met with Trump in the Oval and he bragged about getting rid of Mr. Comey and about the intelligence and highly classified information he receives from Russia. That was just the (probably not) beginning.

  51. July 3, 2018 at 12:17 pm

So we know many things can happen (whether we’re cynical or not) if we allow Trump to install a Justice before January 2019:
He wants to be a life term President. He could change the 8 year rule, gut the VRA, stop himself from being indicted/investigated. Myself am just facing the truth that GOP extremism (we’ve only tasted it) means we’re short of time. And at a supremely critical moment when Dems must hold McConnell to his own TOTAL OBSTRUCTION of an Supreme Court nominee. To do otherwise, for me would reflect a state of congressional democratic deep sleepwalking and willful blindness to GOP’s present/past/future obsession with money, abuse, obstruction, power and disregard for the Constitution. I’d apologize for saying that congressional dems have no choice and must HOLD to the McConnell’s own 2016 timeline…
    but I ain’t sorry.

Let’s be clear: The fact that McConnell denied Obama the right to nominate a SCOTUS before an election but will allow Trump to do so even closer to an election means that he will allow a white name to reshape the court while denying a black man that same right.
