Does any one remember when the angry anti-Obama right wingers, who vowed to oppose and obstruct everything he did, being urged to “build bridges” with Obama and his supporters?

I am sorry, but I am not interested in “building bridges” with right wing racists and haters. Moreover, they are not interested in “building bridges.” The #1 goal of the “far right” is: Retention and perpetuation of white domination.

Kills me that both Sessions and Sarah H Sanders are quoting from the Bible from their respective perches of hate. They are FEDERAL EMPLOYEES.

    • June 14, 2018 at 9:37 pm

I’m super aggravated about this. It’s not about their religion, either. They just have NO defense of the atrocities they’re committing so just as they cling to the flag to promote racism, they project the bible as cover for their racist dehumanization of children.

    • June 14, 2018 at 9:47 pm

And, they could care less about any form of constraint be it legal or moral. They are all as evil as any human has ever been.

Guarantee if you we aren’t any distance away from Trump or any of these creatures killing someone with a flame thrower and using the Bible and the Constitution to justify it – knowing that Fox and 20-30 % of the population would do nothing but support them – especially if the targeted person were brown or black.

Hi JO’B, did you see our new word of the week in that Rachel Held Evans tweet thread Bobfr shared below? Last week (or earlier this week – can’t remember) it was “chiaroscuro”, a word I’d never seen or heard before. Today it’s some man saying he’s a “hermeneutician”. šŸ˜‰ At first, looking at his profile pic, I wondered if it was a fancy way to say ‘hermit’. Is the word as new to you as it was to me? šŸ˜€

I apologize in advance if this rude, BUT I want ZERO religious references to explain, attack, defend or argue about the current insanity we are witnessing. PLEASE PUT THE HOLY BOOKS AWAY. Don’t confuse the evil, avarice, hubris and destruction. No religion is required to see this level of evil and hate.

I have to say that I am very, very appreciative of the fired up fury of so many on twitter for these children & their parents…from Walter Shaub to Rob Reiner to our own Bob & meta. I have been hopeful that we wouldn’t settle for this- the majority of us… that we will not allow history to be repeated in our name. That we care more for children than we care for our silence. We will stop this and we will end this Administration. I believe that today more than ever.

Those cowardly guys making war on little children. Sorry cowardly Super-Religious guys.

  26. June 15, 2018 at 9:35 am

And btw kidnapped breastfeeding baby had to learn a whole new tongue placement and swallow mechanism in order to stay alive = for sure they only have bottles and no wet nurses in the jails. This kind of confusion can lead to baby not being able to nurse again easily/at all. And what happens at night? My children woke up frequently. Are they OK with that inside the Walmart black box where the lights are probably always on?

    • June 15, 2018 at 9:51 am

And I had a child who was allergic to every kind of grain plus dairy and other things for the first 9 or 10 years. It was serious. Are the
jailers aware of that and other medical conditions that a young child has no idea about? Breathing issues. Allergies to even a hint of nuts in food can be life threatening. Children don’t come with labels. Who is keeping track? It is not possible to do a credible job. Think of the overcrowding and staff required. Just not possible. If Sessions-Trump had any brains they’d end this NOW.

    https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/15/politics/michael-cohen-cooperation-federal-investigators/index.html

President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen has indicated to family and friends he is willing to cooperate with federal investigators to alleviate the pressure on himself and his family, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Cohen has expressed anger with the treatment he has gotten from the President, who has minimized his relationship with Cohen, and comments from the President’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani, the source said. The treatment has left him feeling isolated and more open to cooperating, the source said.

Trust me when I tell you that after Manafort is fingerprinted and he changes out of his expensive suit and put on that freshly washed government issue, and he slips off his Bruno Magli loafers and put on those white or tan colored rubber bath slippers it will hit home that shit is about to get real. There are layers to going to prison, and after each freedom is slowly taken away he will begin to understand the gravity of the situation. Right now Manafort is on a high, he’s probably telling himself that he can do time. But as each day passes by his demeanor will change. His optimism will give way to pessimism. Everything that I’ve describe I’ve seen up close and personal for the last eighteen plus years. Manafort better settle in for the ride. There’s an old saying, if the judge sentence you to 20, bring a friend and only do 10.

There is a reason why the Feds arrest people on a Thursday or a Friday, and it has to do with the weekend. They throw you in a hole over the weekend so you can think about cooperating. And when Monday morning comes around and you go for the arraignment, you’ve had time enough to ā€œproperlyā€ digest the situation. Manafort’s problem was that he couldn’t fully appreciate the severity of his situation. Because when you’re sitting up in your million dollar plus mansion you can’t properly assess the situation. So now the Feds have placed Manafort in an environment that is conducive for thinking.

He basically was SS detail for a very short time, didn’t agree with PBO’s “policies ( which none of these people can articulate)” but he was a decent, kind, generous, respectful man as well as his entire family. NOTHING NEW. Most SS agents do not seek limelight or write of their experiences. These people know how popular and anything written about Obama will make them rich.

These are troubled times in this country and today, some of that was right in my residential space.

For decades now, there is mosque near located in The Ohio State University neighborhood, in Columbus Ohio .

Well, today being EID, the extremist Christians (also known as trump key supporters) decided that this would be the “best day” to come and stage protests against Muslims.

Counter-protesters (in this case the people against such hatemongering) came out too and occupied the opposite side of the street). A number of police officers and news reporters are here.

A friend called me to tell me about the protest. Of course, like any self-respecting socio-economic justice activist would do, I quickly made my sign and went out to counter-protest against the hatemongers.

Our group was larger, more vocal and more diverse. We put ourselves upfront so that the Muslims could enter and say their prayers.

Yes, it is very hot but we have to support other marginalized groups when they need us.

Ps, If you have some financial, time, or other resources, please consider supporting and promoting Senator Sherrod Brown (D, OH) who is in a very tight re-election race. He is an unapologetic supporter of socio-economic justice and all kinds of priority human rights issues.
