Thanks to years of the RW hate machine telling their gullible flock that their mediocre (or less than) lives are the fault of liberals, minorities, and ‘feminazis’, they’re primed for Trump to come along singing that same song. He tells them that he’s their great white hope, and the media is part of the enemy trying to bring him down.

I am glad that Meek Mill is getting a 2nd chance and hope he stays out of trouble. I read some of his history and while from the time he was a child had an awful background no child should be exposed. He perfected his rapping skills under the direction of a relative. At 18yrs old and where his rapping abilities started to pay off he made a lot of bad decisions. Unfortunately AA males are not given many 2nd chances or the ability to make mistakes. I am sure if a white male his age did the same things he did, there would not be these prison sentences and these long probations. It’s interesting the AA female judge he kept coming in front of tried to force him to work for her, she should be disbarred. Some of her demands that he not travel, not perform to make money because he violated his probation was just nuts.

Everything the Trumps have done has been aimed to humiliate the Macrons…from the big white hat which made her taller and more noticeable than anyone else, to his stupid dandruff schtick, to his grabbing Macron’s hand, like a guy grabs his girl’s hand….but they don’t realize that they have only humiliated themselves. Now, Pres Macron is speaking before Congress, giving a better speech, in better English than rump ever could. Everything rump does humiliates himself, but he is too stupid to know it.

Yep, he should’ve gotten out while the gettin’ was good. I’m sure President Obama would have given the good doctor a good reference. Now the good doctor is out there looking like boo boo the fool. But he did bring in on himself when he said that Trump could live to be 200 years old if he just followed a good diet. A good guest knows when to leave the party.

      • April 24, 2018 at 10:51 pm

There’s something really very screwy about this whole Ronny Jackson story. His charade about Trump’s exam was beyond bizarre. And why is he so willing to pass up a military promotion and forfeit an estimated $1 MILLION in future retirement income just to become VA Secretary, a job for which he’s clearly unqualified and that no one thinks he can do? Was he trying to ditch his next review? None of this makes any sense.

I have a theory. We all know Trump is a vindictive mofo. I think he nominated Jackson because he knew his nomination wouldn’t go through. Trump’s goal was to get him out the WH. The WH released the 2012 OIG report which only spoke about the power struggle and it’s very negative impact on Command structure. There were no alcohol or inappropriate drug prescription allegations. I think this has something to do with domestic violence in the White House by Trump. I say this because he not only wants to get rid of Jackson. He wants to destroy him. Jackson could lose his medical license.

These state legislature seats are extremely important. Democrats are catching on that this is one way repubs gained control. Things are changing even in red Oklahoma. Four Democrats in our state House have NO opponents this coming year, which is new. They are all pro-education and progress, and we are thrilled. They had opponents the last time, but are now so strong they have none. Also, they stood with the teachers when they walked out for two weeks. This is almost revolutionary. Also, Mary Fallin isn’t running again…THANKFULLY!!! and we have a chance for the governorship.

No. This is a shell game. We must get AWAY from machine voting that is too easily hackable. There will be ZERO audit if the win is outside the margin of error.

Hand Counted Paper Ballots with no internet access to anything and NO counting machines, or tabulation servers… is the ONLY way to secure our elections.

I’m not shocked at all by the attacks on Joy Reid by the LGBTQ community. For the longest of time the LGBTQ community wouldn’t even give President Obama the time of day, and this was AFTER he did away with DOMA AND DADT. But when it came to Bill Clinton, oh boy, they licked his nut-sack even though he didn’t do a motherfucking thing except wax poetically about a world free of discrimination. The fact that their isn’t a statue of President Barack Obama in the lobby of every organization that fights for gay rights is a motherfucking disgrace. What amazes me is that America act as though black people don’t keep receipts, we keep receipts for every fucking thing.

9,000 Nepali earthquake refugees face deportation as Trump administration prepares to cancel more temporary residency permits

The Nepalis were granted temporary protected status — allowing them to remain in the United States legally — after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake devastated the country three years ago, killing thousands. The pending decision from Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen marks the administration’s latest move to expel foreigners living in the United States with some form of provisional status. Immigration hard-liners in the Trump administration have pushed to eliminate TPS protections whenever possible. In recent months DHS has canceled the residency permits of 200,000 Salvadorans, 50,000 Haitians and a smaller number of Nicaraguans and Sudanese.

According to internal planning documents reviewed by The Washington Post, Nielsen will give the Nepalis a one-year grace period to prepare their departure, but they would face deportation after June 24, 2019.

      • 90 0388jojothecat
        April 25, 2018 at 12:47 pm

If they do not what is the point for all these investigations? Oh, the president did a bunch of bad things, hacked the DNC, conspired with a foreign adversary, but now that we know, we can go on with life until the next election.

        • 91 idon
          April 25, 2018 at 8:19 pm

I don’t think we can have it both ways. MOst of us believe Trump is not the legitimate POTUS and was hacked into the office by Russia. We assume he’s a Russian agent or asset based on his action once he illegally assumed office. The question becomes is he eligible for impeachment. Under the above set of facts I would have to say no. This means he could be indicted.

    • 92 Obama Grandmama
      April 25, 2018 at 1:08 pm

What I heard is that if Impeachment is the reason Dems running for office use that it will turn out more Repub voters to oppose them. Bill Clinton’s strong support was used in warning candidates to use policy instead and I understand that.

      • 93 0388jojothecat
        April 25, 2018 at 1:24 pm

Then they need to say we need to elect DEMS to make sure Mueller completes his investigation. The GOP will say DEMS want to impeach the iQ45 anyway.

    • 94 nathkatun7
      April 25, 2018 at 6:32 pm

I think Harry Reid knows that impeachment will go no where. Even if Democrats controlled Congress, without 67 votes in the Senate, Trump is not going to be removed from office. It’s no accident that no president in U.S. history has been removed via impeachment in the House of Representatives and conviction and removal from office by 2/3rds of the U.S. Senators, as mandated by the Constitution. Two presidents, in the 220 year history since the U.S. Constitution was ratified, have been impeached:Andrew Johnson (1868), and Bill Clinton (1998). In both cases, the Senate was not able to muster 2/3rds vote to remove them from office. The only president who faced the possibility of being impeached in the House of Rep., and then convicted and removed from office by 2/3rds of the Senators, was Richard Nixon, who elected to resign. That’s because he lost support of substantial numbers of Republicans in the Senate. I don’t see that happening to Donald Trump. In my humble opinion, I think Democrats should be focused on winning the majority in Congress in 2018, and the presidency in 2020. Then they can begin to curtail, and eventually reverse, the damage that Trump is inflicting on the country.

I wish we could increase the rent of both Ben Carlson’s and Pay Ryan’s parents retroactively. Probably that of many others in the GOP pool.

HUD Secretary Ben Carson proposes rent increases, work requirements for low-income Americans receiving federal housing subsidies

The proposal from Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson calls for raising the rent for low-income households receiving housing subsidies, according to the administration’s legislative proposal obtained by The Washington Post.

The proposal, raising the minimum monthly rent contribution from $50 to $150, could affect more than 4.5 million currently relying on federal housing assistance. But the proposal would require congressional approval.

My senior mother lives in a senior HUD building where her rent is affordable and even a $50 raise she could bear. There are so many other seniors in her building who voted for Trump. This one woman doesn’t know anything about Trump just that he is an “R”. There are many poor “R”‘s in her building who voted for him. At least they can hate the black man who raises their rent.
