Secretary of education Betsy Devos spoke to me and only a hand full of students. She did not properly answer my only question. She did not sit down with any students and asked what we wanted. Douglas has 3,000 students. None of them were invited. pic.twitter.com/1RXYDZJtTb
I spoke to college students today who genuinely fear for their safety on campus, going so far as taking roundabout routes to their classes to avoid potential shooters. This shouldn’t ever happen in a free country.
People keep forgetting the 100 Follower Rule. Don't engage with critics who have <100 followers. They haven't persuaded 100 people that their tweets are worth reading. They waste your time and are using your more popular account to increase their visibility. Mock, block, move on.
Only in the chaotic era of Trump would the story or Nader, who attended the meeting in Seychelles to establish a backchannel between Trump and Russia set up by the crown prince of the UAE, and is now cooperating with Mueller, barely get covered. https://t.co/H2q7wQ2i08
Don't overlook George Nader. Mueller's latest cooperatin' witness has enough goodies to bring down Trump all by himself. This prize witness comes courtesy of the Mike Flynn plea deal. Tea promises this ain't the last we've heard of ol' George!https://t.co/rwDCUoeRn0

Gov Brown will go down as the greatest governor California has ever had and will have. There is NO one like him. I pray that our future Democratic Governor use Brown’s policies as a good template. Don’t let the Democratic legislator over-spend and see our Billion $ surplus as some kind of personal social piggy-bank. We need to save for future disasters and sabotage by Republican presidents.
[Just found this from three years ago – had written it in honor of the 50th commemoration of Selma – and thought I’d share again. Obviously, I was speaking to whatever contemporaneous events were occurring, which doesn’t matter either! But that old bridge matters. And those heroes still matter.]
The Bridge to Everywhere
This day, many hadn’t come
But all that was for naught
Because no one really noticed.
Those who came could have
Closed their eyes and still felt
The singular beauty of the place.
Could have still heard the silenced voices
Of the old warriors, and could have
Heard the sound the old bridge made
With the wind softly moving through it
And the shoes passionately walking over it
All voices still silent.
See and hear the beauty of the place
Look out into the rivers of time
Touch each other in
Warm embrace
And feel the beauty of the day.
The remarkable memories it brought
Were enough. I wouldn’t change a thing.
No need to change the name of the bridge, either.
That bridge belongs to everyone and no one, anyway.
I have been out of town for 5 glorious days. i have kept up on things thru TOD. One of the best things to happen was the viral video put out by our Arlee Warriors basketball team. The suicide prevention video has been viewed almost 1 million times. I know this town well. It’s 20 minutes from my home and I have many friends there. The High School basketball team just won it’s 2cd state championship this year they were undefeated. I will post an article and the video. Please watch and read about the great kids. Montana is #1 in teen suicides. Maybe it will change.

Rep. Eric Swalwell talks with Ari Melber about the Republican effort to end the House Intelligence Committee’s Trump Russia investigation without trying in good faith to fulfill its mission.
It doesn’t really matter at this point. Nunes’ tactics make it clear that Republicans aren’t serious about getting to the bottom of Russian interference so they might as well end the charade. Mueller’s investigation is the only one that matters.
I celebrate my grandmother, Odessa Williams on #InternationalWomensDay she told me to be the Best that i could be. To always strive towards excellence. To never let racism be an excuse for Failure. pic.twitter.com/uQqcCIeWKj
We celebrate her too. Thank you for sharing your grandmothers wise words of wisdom that her generation understood that there would be a better future for her grandkids and future generations if they believed in working hard and not let barriers stop them.
YES….she was full of such gems…i hear her words coming back to me when i need them the most….she is now gone from me but her presence is very much with me..
If only the press would give as much attention to the fact that TRUMP has NOT placed sanctions on Russia and that his GOP enablers in Congress seem not to care…but alas they are fixated on the Porn star sex story…is that because the media is mostly men? #TiTilation
Instead of the USA leading and creating the rules…we are left on the outside looking in …watching China taking our place on trade…just as Pres Obama said..Indeed…you now have Trump starting trade wars that hurts us as well as our allies #PutinSmiling
Under normal circumstances, the President of the United States would contact its greatest ally and offer condolences, support and assistance, while denouncing such a heinous attack.
Wow, the Obama’s are EVERYWHERE! I am so glad they are enjoying their lives after the WH. I was just thinking, once Sasha goes off to college the Obama’s can leave D.C. and maybe buy a second home in Hawaii or California. They don’t need to have a permanent base because they are travelling all the time. They are still young and able to just travel lift up women, girls, minority young men, and then settle into retirement at 60. 🙂

TPP was the most progressive trade deal in history. It would give us an enormous advantage. Clueless, ignorant “progressives” demagogue it and forced Hillary Clinton – who knew better – to pretend she was against it.
This country never deserved Barack Obama.

Truer words never spoken. Stupid progressives like Sanders, Thom Hartmann and the looney left who fail to realize that we are in a global economy and that we are getting something in exchange for doing business with other countries. Instead of innovating our government has allowed the “cheaters” to cheat and stood by doing nothing then blamed “others” for the loss of jobs by the lazy privileged who wants to live as though having a high school diploma will give them a high paying job like their parents or grandparents.
Just out from Paul Manafort's arraignment in Virginia: – He pleaded not guilty – Trial date set for July 10 (earlier than the Sept. 17 DC trial date and earlier than the November date his lawyer wanted) – Put on home confinement with GPS monitoring (same as DC)

He’s really wonderful, a man of pure integrity for our time.
Yep he was a wonderful governor back in the ‘old days’ too – my favorite (when I was a youngin’) 🙂 He has always done right by California.
Yes indeed & me too, Nath ✌🏾

TRIAL DATE for Manafort now set for July 10 in Virginia. Charges include bank and tax fraud.
Must be several different trials for different charges.
😂😂 In VA & DC, thus far. Money laundering could cross jurisdictions?
The charges include money laundering and tax evasion.

Ye gads. Throw up in my mouth. Sorry for that image but that’s how I feel. These people make me furious!!!!!!!!!
SAME. It’s totally nauseating.
This worries me….
