Good day TOD! I was so disgusted last night that I had to turn off the TV and stay away from social media. To see these assholes taking a victory lap over this disgusting bill Is beyond comprehension. So instead, I spent time going through Chasing Light and reliving the good that Michelle did while in the White House. What a contrast with the invisible first lady that is there now. But I also had to shake my head when thinking about the uproar the one time she exited Air Force One in shorts. How the GOP has fallen that the first lady they put in the white house has nude photos all over the internet.
What is manifestly clear at this point is they will continue to harm this country In every way they can while they remain in office. I only hope that the Democrats grow a spine and will use their leverage on budget negotiations and raising the debt ceiling to ensure that CHIP is funded and a clean DREAM Act is passed. In my early twenties I learned that I could do stupid shit, but it was going to be very expensive. So from that moment on I made it my business not to be so stupid, or at lest keep it to a minimum. Good day TOD! I was so disgusted last night that I had to turn off the TV and stay away from social media. To see these assholes taking a victory lap over this disgusting bill Is beyond comprehension. So instead, I spent time going through Chasing Light and reliving the good that Michelle did while in the White House. What a contrast with the invisible first lady that is there now. But I also had to shake my head when thinking about the uproar the one time she exited Air Force One in shorts. How the GOP has fallen that the first lady they put in the white house has nude photos all over the internet.
What is manifestly clear at this point is they will continue to harm this country In every way they can while they remain in office. I only hope that the Democrats grow a spine and will use their leverage on budget negotiations and raising the debt ceiling to ensure that CHIP is funded and a clean DREAM Act is passed. But I am not overly optimistic at this point. What a sad week for our country.

I haven’t signed in for weeks as we had local elections here (Nevis) and my party won 4 seats to 1 we really beat up on the opposition as they took folks names off the voters list (including mine) 2 elections ago the matter had to go to high court there was another election which my party won; they came back this time hoping we would forget but we really buried them this time we had 3 seats now we have 4 and they only have 1 and he is 70; i am in election heaven, I’ve been gloating and putting out my tongue a lot; after the swearing in of all government minsters i will get back to that ‘orange one’ and all you wonderful TODers. Hope everyone has been keeping well including Judith i really have to go back and see what has happened. Jeez this is even better than when Obama won. Now you know celebrate with me…ooohh its so wonderful we won we won we won!!!!!!

In my early twenties I learned that I could do stupid shit, but it was going to be very expensive. So from that moment on I made it my business not to be so stupid, or at lest keep it to a minimum. Now that I’m in my fifties I’ve been able to afford my stupidity, it helps that my mistakes have been minor though. But I’m worried about those that can’t afford to pay for their mistakes, like the working poor all over this country that voted for the Republicans. This tax bill is a monster, it is a wrecking ball designed to cause pain to those that can’t afford to get out of its way. If we don’t get out and vote in the midterms my fear is that we might never recover from the pain that is headed our way.
