How can we go around the Citizen’s United ruling given by corrupt members SCOTUS? I am haunted by the blatant declaration from the republicans that they had to push the taxscam because of the demands of their donors. Reporters just repeated this without much condemnation and with acceptance that this is were things stand now. I feel that at minimum, ordinary people have to find a way to deal with the influence of money and lobbyists in policy formulation. Together with these two, we should also find a way to ensure that in ALL states, at least non-violent offenders automatically get their voting rights back after they have served their time. I wonder if these can be do through ballot measures this year. They could go a long way to increase voter participation

My perspective is that beyond his personality disorder Trump has dementia. Not Alzheimers but fronto temporal lobe. Hence why his language has become so reduced. Howdy Fam! Dad had surgery this past week. It went perfectly and he’s fine. I’ve been keeping an eye on him while Mom’s out of town. Just dropped him off to play at a poker tournament. P.S. When I dropped him off, he hugged me and thanked me for taking care of him and said how he really appreciated spending so much time together these last few days, we hadn’t spent this much time together since I was sick. Howdy Fam! Dad had surgery this past week. It went perfectly and he’s fine. I’ve been keeping an eye on him while Mom’s out of town. Just dropped him off to play at a poker tournament. Yep, I know what you’re thinking, but he was tired of sitting around at home and complained he could just as easily sit at a poker table. So it was either I take him or he’d drive himself. Harrumph! Anyway I thought I’d post this for a Moment of Cuteness, ‘cuz really who doesn’t need something sweet to look at these days?
P.S. When I dropped him off, he hugged me and thanked me for taking care of him and said how he really appreciated spending so much time together these last few days, we hadn’t spent this much time together since I was sick. So now here I am now in my Mom’s car looking for some tissues while this strange liquid pours out of my eyes.

I was thinking about her a few days ago. Remember how for those first weeks after the election, so many of us tried contacting her on twitter, on Facebook, here. Nothing, no response as I remember. Would LOVE to hear from her!!!!!!
Just went to her Facebook page. Last entries were end of April, early May when many of us wished her a happy birthday and also said how much we missed her at TOD. 😦 😦

Instead, Alabama was chosen;
my ‘hood is filled with very many unhappy faces most of whom will be rooting against Alabama;
