We have our marching orders! The Obamas showed us what to do to fight for our democracy and each other. On a personal note, I have to take some time off to fight an early breast cancer (DCIS). Not sure yet what treatment I will have but very relieved to have great health insurance to cover it,. Everyone should have that peace of mind!

Judith, I am a survivor. Tx entailed a lumpectomy and excision of a lymph node to check for metastasis. (None)m a 8 yr survivor with the same diagnosis in my left breast. It was estrogen positive, therfore i had 6 wk of radiation therapy, and 4 yrs of arimidex (oral suppressor), and one yr of tamoxifen (way cheaper). I had some swelling in that arm, but now all is good. Everytime I have a annual xray, I gulp, but all clear, you can do this! Like you, I am grateful for that mammogram that caught mine early!
Judith, you will make it. A dear friend is going through chemo now, and I have watched her tremendous grace and grit during this process. I always admired her, but admire her even more. We will surround you with love and prayer and light, and know that you will be triumphant over this.
Judith, just want to reinforce the fact that your support team is huge and that our thoughts will be with you constantly over the next hours, days, months whether or not you are on line, in the village here, or off taking care of business.
