Good TOD! What a beautiful day! Sessions is turning out to be the world’s biggest mark, and the Republicans can’t seem to figure out how to end Obamacare. I mean you would think that controlling the White House and both houses of government it should have been easy to end Obamacare. If these guys owned a funeral home nobody would die.

I suspect that he is in law enforcement …. probably a member of the US Marshals or FBI …. he looks armed ;
my superficial (and totally unprofessional and therefore unacceptable) comment is that this guy is often looking very sharp (well-groomed, nicely dressed and yes not sore to the eye => yes I should probably be coming for confession Rev. Father ….

Mueller *knows* he’s dealing with the Russian mob — he’s courageous and this fact no doubt makes him even more determined to seek justice.
I also have no doubt he has the dominoes in place should FUBAR (unconstitutionally) decide to fire him (Mueller).

This is such a loss for DC, the news industry and our country. The 17 years we lived in Fairfax, he was a mainstay on my TV. When Doreen joined him (I think shortly after we moved there from Cleveland area), I surely felt right at home with the two of them.
Our community, more specifically our United Methodist community, suffered a tragic loss this week. The 18 year old son of one of our pastors was killed in a truck accident. He was thrown from the truck. His dad was at our church as an associate for 3 years, then they moved to another church in the area. We are all devastated. The same day that happened, I learned that our very best friends from Fairfax fell in the shower few days ago. He has Alzheimer’s and was declining rapidly already. The fall accelerated that. He was quite violent for 2 or 3 days. Betty brought him home yesterday with full-time home health. Then they will move to MI to be near their
only son and his family. This on top of 45 and everything happening with our country—difficult week!!

My heart is broken over this loss. Jim Vance was like family. He came into our living rooms here in the DC area for 40+ years and was an old school journalist. Jim will be greatly missed.

He said he wanted to be cremated and have a big party where they played Andrea Bocelli and John Coltane, then have his Harley shipped to the Vegas desert and let his ashes fly there.
