What is your local news reporting about the flash flood in Payson AZ, which killed 7 (not sure if that happened overnight or this morning?).
Used to love reading Arizona Highways (is that magazine still being published?) and they often had articles about the Mogollon Rim, which I’ve never traveled to, so have no idea what it’s like there. đŚ

Have you been to that area? Wikipedia tells me it used to be called “Zane Grey territory” in the 1970-80s, but no longer carries that designation — and Wikipedia tells me that Zane Grey’s first name was “Pearl” (!) — and we complain today about names people give their children.

some things I remember from the WJC time that were made normal by newt-led rabid republicans which will be applicable to the homegrown demagogue if and when that time comes :
(a) pushing the argument that a sitting president can be made to testify in all kinds of matters instead of waiting until he/she is out of office;
(b) justifying the charging a president with high crimes and misdemeanors because he publicly lied to the American people about an illegal/immoral activity;
(c) demanding that the FBI come and take physical bodily and other kinds of evidence from a sitting president;
(d) Ken Starr getting a legal ruling that the president’s protective detail (and other members of the US Secret Service) are not obliged to claim privacy of their dealings with the person they protect. therefore they can be called into court to give testimony about the behavior and activities of the person they protect ;
in life, we are warned to try and not do petty or evil stuff to others because it may come back to haunt you;

……. therefore, given his unrepentant cruelty, it would only be fair if his arrest, should it comes to pass, is done publicly for the whole world to see;
…….. such a video would be replayed on constant loop so that the other countries can learn how to deal with a leader who is not only naturally cruel and arrogant, but also corrupt-to-the-core;
…….don’t know if Director Comey had handcuffs that regular FBI agents carry – I highly doubt it but who knows;
….. but WHEN Special Counsel Mueller details the charging sheet and it comes time for @FBI to arrest scoundrel#45, it would only be fitting if the handcuffs that previously belonged to Director Comey are used in the arrest;
…. I am sure that the FBI can find appropriate handcuffs for other members of Team Treason;
