    I agree ….

Thank you NW for all you continue to do to support our, currently under attack, Democracy.

Will do as I will be out during that time to celebrate my youngest child’s 25th birthday. We are all going to the Cheesecake Factory, one of her favorite restaurants.

I have to say that I am so disappointed (although I didn’t expect anything else) that not one Republican has come out against #45 after what Tjr said/did re: those emails. They are truly showing that party is more important than country. Their supporters all call it a “librul conspiracy” and refuse to believe conspiracy with Russia is even wrong if it favors your party and helps you win. This is driving me crazy.

Happy Birthday to your baby! I called, as I do every day, my senators and asked them to vote No on health care….and also asked why they hadn’t said a word about the treasonous fraud in the WH. Crickets all around. Tells you all you need to know, doesn’t it?

Enjoy your dinner. Love the Ahi tuna:)

I’m on twitter all the time sending messages; I thank my CA senators; and I call the main switchboard to leave messages to save the ACA. Do what I can, but still discouraged. Won’t stop fighting though.

Happy Birthday to your daughter, Betsy. I like Cheesecake Factory, too.

It makes me furious, too, that President Obama was made to produce his birth certificate, yet we have Trump, his family, and the Republican party acting in partnership with Russia, and they are still trying to blame Obama for “taping” Trump Tower illegally.

      Excellent! From this piece.

If a judge permits the case to reach that stage, the lawsuit would become a new and independent fact-finding investigation into the Trump-Russia issue โ€” one that is overseen by a judge rather than by congressional Republicans, like the oversight inquiries conducted by the House and Senate Intelligence Committees, or by the Trump administration, like the criminal inquiry led by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III.

โ€œThese plaintiffs are using the law and the American civil justice system the way it was intended: to vindicate important rights and values, such as the right to privacy and the right to participate in the political process; and to deter others who might consider colluding with a foreign government for political gain,โ€ said Ian Bassin, the executive director of Protect Democracy. โ€œThey want to ensure that what they have gone through does not become something we accept as part of our democracy.โ€

    GE TODville.

Have seen only snippets of Christopher Wray’s confirmation hearing today, but I get the same vibes from him as I did with the snippets I saw from Neil Gorsuch’s hearing.

Too smug, too self-serving, and definitely doesn’t have the interest of American citizens in mind.

Posted this morning some tweets that indicate Wray will be confirmed as FBI director…

And his background should give the defenders of our democracy in the Senate a pause:

active military, veterans and other people can loose their security clearance for a offenses and omissions less serious than those that have been committed by members of Team Treason.

    what example does it set if the some people have special treatment especially when scoundrel#45 is supposed to be in charge of the millitary;

Well, it’s clear they’re saving Mrs. O. for the end, so we’ll keep watching the ESPYs. Harrumph!
TBH, I really was planning to change the channel as soon as her segment and Mrs. Shriver’s award presentation is complete.
Kinda glad to see some of the other winners, but man, this thing is dragging on!

Dudette, mwaaaaah! I saw your post just in time to tune in to the ESPYS to see our #ForeverFlotus44.
She was absolutely lovely. Loved the standing ovation she got. Mr Shriver’s acceptance speech on behalf
of his mother was truly wonderful and inspirational.

TELEPORTATION: In keeping with the Auspicious Wowness of our First Lady tonight:
Scientists have successfully teleported an object from Earth to space for the first time.
“A team of researchers in China sent a photon from the ground to an orbiting satellite more than 300 miles above through a process
known as quantum entanglement, according to MIT Technology Review. Itโ€™s the farthest distance tested so far in teleportation
    experiments, the researchers said.” http://time.com/4854718/quantum-entanglement-teleport-space/

Here I am at the (current) end of the thread to send greetings to you all! My Parisian household is still sleeping so Iรจm stealing some time on Offspringรจs French keyboard where I have no idea where things like apostrophes are hidden. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Oh well, at least youรจll know I havenรจt forgotten you all. Truth is, I have been up to my poor ears in Trump info when I am home, as the TV here is always on CNN.

FTR, Gay Paree has been a wonder to date – busy, noisy, confusing – nothing at all like I had anticipated, but I am slowly learning my way around a small corner of it. We have been to Notre Dame, the Louvre (not yet the displays), the Pantheon, Shakespeare something or other bookstore – where you had to line up to enter – loads of stores. Since today marks my first week here, I still have time for some of the highlights. I cast an eye into TOD whenever I can borrow a bit of technology, since my travel laptop crashed the day after I arrived. I will continue to touch base this way until I get back home.

Have a great Thursday when you all wake up! ๐Ÿ™‚

All of them are guilty. All of them support this fraudulent presidency. I hope when he goes down, he takes the whole lot down with him.

    • July 13, 2017 at 7:37 am

Follow the money doesn’t seem to be the only source for evidence. The corollary is, look at those who downplay the significance of the evidence before them as well as those who seek to obstruct the progress of the investigation.

Considered as a whole, that probably covers most — if not all — of the GOP legislators, not to mention 45’s WH.

Maddow had a segment last night with about Dense Pence.

With his spokesman just being asked a direct question about if Pence had met with the Russians.

    Gave a non-answer answer.

Keep a lookout for the drip drip drop on Pence.
He’s already up to his eyeballs in the Flynn mess.

Pence spokesman squirms on Russia question
Rachel Maddow shows how Mike Pence has had a hard time making truthful denials about the Trump campaign’s interactions with Russia, and notes that Pence’s spokesman couldn’t give a straight answer on whether Pence himself had met with Russians during the campaign.

Justice Department Defies Court Deadline To Release Sessions’ Contacts With Russians
    July 13, 20176:28 AM ET

In defiance of a court order, the Justice Department is refusing to release part of a security form dealing with Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ contacts with the Russian government.

On June 12, a judge had ordered the agency to provide the information within 30 days, a deadline which passed on Wednesday.

A recently-launched ethics watchdog group called American Oversight filed a Freedom of Information Act request in March for sections of the Standard Form 86 relating to Sessions’ contacts “with any official of the Russian government.”

The group then filed a lawsuit in April after it said the government didn’t provide the documents.

“Jeff Sessions is our nation’s top law enforcement officer, and it is shocking one of his first acts after being named Attorney General was to mislead his own agency about a matter of national security,” the group’s executive director, Austin Evers, said in a statement.
