      Saw this tweet (not familiar with this tweeter, but one person’s opinion):

      On a happier note, this Senator has the best job in the world (IMHO — New Mexico is my favorite state — there’s so much beauty in so many states, but there’s something special for me in NM, can’t explain it).

      Martin Heinrich spent the 4th in Silver City (in the mountains, and IIRC birthplace of Billy The Kid), the cutest little town:

    My wonderful post gone awol was about the pendulum, Light and darkness, and the Full Moon. (It was one of my more inspired pieces, imho). Anyway, Full Moon is upon us: tonight 9:07pm PDT. early tomorrow 0:07am EDT, at 17 ♑️ 09. Nice night to sit out and watch it. Astrologers seem to feel this maniac so-called president and his treacherous admin will not survive the very powerful eclipse coming up in August. Let us hope what is written in the stars will prove correct and indisputable!

      Thanks for the info, MP.

      Sorry about your WordPress problems — sounds like you’re on an Apple product, and I’ve never owned anything by Apple, so I’m no help at all — WP seems to be OK on Microsoft Windows 10. Judith Fardig suggested that you clear your cache and defrag, but I don’t know if that’s something you can do with Apple.

      I’ve missed quite a bit here, but this is the first reference here I’ve seen about August’s eclipse. Last year I was pretty excited about making plans to be somewhere to see it, but I’m now content to stay where I am — a special event like this is an excuse for crazy people to be even crazier, and I can’t tolerate that now.

      In the back of my mind, though, I’m hoping for some kind of karmic intervention/thunderbolt to accompany/precede this celestial milestone.

        Total Solar Eclipse. August 21, 2017. 28♌️53. This eclipse’s path starts in the Pacific, crosses the United States, and ends in the mid-Atlantic off Africa. This eclipse will be visible as a spectacular total eclipse to millions in Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, the northeast corner of Kansas, Missouri, southern Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, northeast Georgia, and the Carolinas. The path at maximum is over 70 miles wide. Source: Jim Maynard’s Celestial Guide 2017. http://www.QuicksilverProductions.com Totality: 11:30am PDT. 2:30pm EDT.

      July 9, 2017 at 11:14 am

      LOL! I am one of the aunties who learned early not to turn the nephew loose on anything (a sneaky mofo) and tried to warn the other family members. They finally learned after cable bills in the thousands (porn), missing money and other nefarious deeds. They thought because he had that winning smile, delayed development and related issues that he could/would not do the things that many so-called normal kids did, but I had him scoped out long ago and am the only one who has not been hoodwinked by him. He was my running partner (movies, parks, museums, beach, etc) until he reached 13 (I refuse to deal with the stinky teen years), so I was hip to what he was really about.

    From His Holiness Dalai Lama:

    “I would like to thank everyone who sent kind greetings on the occasion of my 82nd birthday and who joined in celebrating the day in many parts of the world.

    As you are probably already aware, my life is guided by three principal commitments — to contribute to bringing about a more compassionate world; to encourage inter-religious harmony, and to work to preserve Tibet’s Buddhist culture, which is a culture of peace and non-violence, while also drawing attention to the need to protect the natural environment of Tibet. Since the Tibetan Plateau is the source of Asia’s major rivers, more than one billion people depend on the water they provide.

    Tibet’s Buddhist culture is derived from the traditions of India’s historic Nalanda University, which encouraged dependence on reason and logic over reliance on mere scriptural authority. It adopted an empirical approach, like science, which included a thorough knowledge of the workings of the mind and emotions that remains extremely relevant today.

    These are commitments by which I abide myself, but I often ask brothers and sisters who show me affection and respect to consider joining me in upholding them.

    In short, may I request you please to help others whenever you can and if for some reason you can’t do that, at least to refrain from doing anyone any harm.

    With my prayers and good wishes,

    The Dalai Lama

    Leh, Ladakh, 9 July 2017”

      At this point in FUBAR’s alignment with Vlad, Nazis and the “uneducated” (his words on the campaign trail) and his lust to isolate US from all nations without a dictator, I’m ignoring most male pundits.

      (Have posted this here before, but something to keep in mind:)

      Sarah also posted this today:

      Can remember when I was STUNNED to see this at my local Walmart* Neighborhood Store two years ago (also posted here before, but 2 years ago):

      My MIL used to tell me, you don’t ask a child *IF* they did something, because of course they’re going to deny it and now they’re in double trouble for lying. The question should be, “WHY DID YOU….?”

      By the same token, asking Putin IF he interfered in the US elections, of course he is going to deny it. And just because you ask more than once and he denies it more than once doesn’t make him any less guilty. But 45 obviously has “Boo Boo the Fool” written on his forehead, and he confirms this label by basically going, “Duh, Okay.”

      And while I’m ranting, Ivanka sitting at the table at the G20…it seems that any time she’s given an opportunity to interact with some foreign dignitary, it turns into some benefit to their family business. Wonder what she was bargaining for this time.

    …Obama made the right call here, as he usually does, and if people on both sides would stop and think a bit, they’d be able to see why. …

    … Obama, being a man who actually thinks things through before he decides to do anything, surely thought this out, and chose the best of two bad options. He chose to not publicly reveal it in order to maintain neutrality. He understood that whatever he did had the weight of the White House behind it, and throwing the election to either party would have disgraced the office. … More here: http://bit.ly/2sR4bFK

      Thanks, DF.

      Lots of good info in the RT’d article:

      From the article:
      “Yesterday evening, IR.net was made aware of a complaint that has been filed by Massachusetts Attorney, J. Whitfield Larrabee against Republican U.S. Representatives Dana Rohrabacher (48th Congressional District of California) and Ed Royce (39th Congressional District of California) as well as Republican U.S. Senator James Risch of Idaho, in relation to contributions which appear to have been made through Paul Manafort and other lobbyists who were illegally acting as intermediaries for foreign entities — more specifically the Ukraine Party of Regions (a Vladimir Putin ally) and the European Centre For a Modern Ukraine (also a Putin ally).”

      Here’s (at least one, there may be more) challenger to Royce:

      We are already well aware that Rohrbacher is R-Vlad, but I was wondering about Royce because (from Dec 2016):

      From the article:
      “The move — pushed by House Foreign Affairs Chairman Ed Royce as a way to streamline the agency — concentrates control into a powerful CEO who is appointed by the president.”

      Until 1968, the GOP were the Party of Lincoln. They saw what The Dixies could not achieve in 1948……Truman won & Dewey Lost. However in 1968, Wallace’s win of 5 States, along with Nixon’s Southern strategy, Gave Nixon a Win. They started plotting a takeover of the Media. While the Dems/Lefties/Progressives/Liberals were marching, governing, GOP concentrated on Dominance by any means necessary.
      Today, GOP & their Hard Right Control 40% of US Media……driving Content, Coverage, Fake News, etc to distort & deny Facts to 321M Americans.
      Those who control the Media, Control the Power.

    I am shocked that people are still trying to analyze contradictory pronouncements about what went on between putin and the homegrown demagogue at the G20;

    Shouldn’t people know by now that all these pronouncements are probably lies that will be contradicted within only a few hours or days;

    most should remember that we are dealing with two administrations that are not only corrupt-to-the-core, but are also pompous to boot;

    each one wants the world to stand and notice how very important they are and to control the media narrative;

    so my advice to people is that for now, just listen to the pronouncements with amusement.

    guessing that in a few days, all this will be changing as each one (putin and scoundrel#45) tries to look more important in the world.

    then we world will be trying to figure out who is telling the truth – except if the russians taped the conversation.
