    am I the only one finding it ironic that a few days ago, we had media giving an over-sized platform to those few democrats who were hysterically criticizing Speaker-for-life Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Party?

    it has been previously reported that Speaker Pelosi:

    …., you know that lady legislator a few were trying to publicly undermine and label as burden;

    ….. was one of the people who never wavered and insisted that the push for Obamacare be completed;

    …… the one legislator who counted and still knows how to count the votes needed and to hold her caucus together;

    and the same democratic party, …… who a few people were trashing with the help of the media as “a toxic brand” …. did manage to pass and implement Obamacare ………. something that had ben tried and failed for almost 100 years;

    you know that the people who were trying to create that division among Democrats and undermine Speaker Pelosi are now going on as if they did not do any public demonizing of her and her leadership of this party;

    that is why it may be best to ignore such pronouncements in the future and just keep doing all we can to get rid of republicans from office;

    GE TODville.

    This is for MightyPamela and BWD, if they’re lurking (I had no idea Twitter did this).

    From the article:
    “On June 17th at around 10 am Doha time (07:00 GMT) the Twitter account of Al Jazeera’s Arabic channel, a verified account with more than eleven million followers, was suspended due to an organised campaign. Engineers at Al Jazeera Arabic who were in communication with Twitter said there was a “storm attack” of mass reports of the account to Twitter, which forced the algorithm to temporarily suspend the account, but Twitter did not immediately respond to request for comment.

    It has been a high profile case of an already well established pattern: Twitter receives significant numbers of complaints at the same time, a mass reporting of an account, and automatically closes it. No warnings, no checks, no costumer’s guarantees whatsoever.”

      Well, as all I did was RT a tweet of CarolineO @RVAwonk, they must have been targeting her. My pathetically minimal account couldn’t cause a ripple in puddle! I’m burning out on twitter anyway, didn’t close it but still considering to. I’m losing ground, do better if I carry the Light in silence, at the center of the turmoil. Hoping I still contribute in that way. ❤️

    See Lawrence tonight! On section called “Republicans Revolt Against Mitch McConnell”: Lawrence explains that 90% of GOP
    Senators were willing to KEEP the ACA. He said that McConnell was going to get 5 Yays and 95 Nays for the Deathcare bill,
    so he had to pull the bill rather than let us see Republicans lose face bigtime on TV. Remember the 60+ votes to repeal the
    ACA since 2010? GOP has spent $mega-millions playing intimidation games with healthcare. Yes Americans have stood up.
    Now we must stand up to this psychopathic Dicktraitor, the disgraceful abuses of McConnell’s grossly corrupt Death Party,
    the KOCH/Putin plutos who are pulling the strings. And give them the Giant boot.

    I have news for you all, he says… the cbo score is from march of 2016 not today so the baseline score is actually zero people being thrown off Obamacare not 23 million people!

    Victorious activists stay vigilant for next GOP health bill
    Senator Cory Booker talks with Rachel Maddow about the public activism that contributed to the Republican failure to pass their health/tax plan and why it’s too soon for opponents of the Republican bill to celebrate.

    Health care activists press on as GOP stumbles
    Rachel Maddow looks at continued activism against Republican dismantling of health benefits even as Senate Republicans have failed in their first effort to bring a bill of their own.

  26. June 28, 2017 at 9:30 am

    You mean like the GOP stopped with all the obstruction over the previous 8 years?!?!?!?

  27. June 28, 2017 at 9:36 am

    If it’s business as usual for the GOP, all their concerns and criticism are just lip service. Perhaps that’s what Johnson and McConnell expect. Or maybe McConnell is allowing Senate Republicans the time to give their academy award performances that voting for the bill was such a difficult decision for them.

    No respect

    U.S. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross’ video address to German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s political party’s business conference in Berlin was cut off on Tuesday after Ross went over his time limit, prompting conference attendees to laugh and cheer.

    Ross’ video feed at the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) conference was faded out after roughly twenty minutes for going over his time limit…Attendees then began to applaud and laugh at the move.

    “That was the U.S. secretary of commerce, who had promised us a 10-minute statement,” the head of CDU Economic Council Werner Bahlsen said.

    “As you saw, he spoke a bit slowly, so it took a bit longer. Now we look forward to the chancellor’s speech,” he continued.

      GM Dudette.

      It’s so much worse than we thought (given MSM coverage of encroaching #SheriffClarkeBestPractices):

      Not quite as bad as dying, but how we treat people who overstay Visas is an affront to humanity — that’s what bothers me most about DJT/ICE’s #JackbootedThugs — they have no respect for the dignity of the person involved, apparently don’t consider them human, a violation of what it is to be human.

          Good day to all!

          Unfortunately, it may take this example of someone who ought to resonate with the “white working class” crowd to bring scrutiny on this program.

          It’s all good for the Trumpsters when someone they think “deserves” it (clearly that means Hispanic, black, “other”) gets harassed, traumatized, and dehumanized. But this man looks like “one of them”. That can’t be right!

  39. June 28, 2017 at 11:11 am

    Yep they are revolting.
    Republicans revolt against Mitch McConnell: See Lawrence on Deathcare vote that drops like a rock.
    McConnell Deathcare-in-Chief failed. Fail, fail, fail. Clear opposition in Senate. 9 GOP said they wouldn’t vote. But McConnell wasn’t
    going to come close to 41 votes. Was facing only 5 yays and prospect of losing 95 to 5. Only 5 gopers said they would vote for it.
    Never seen less support. No space between 49 and 5 votes — they would defect on TV on the Senate floor so he pulled the bill.
    The “repeal and replace” was always a lie. 90% of gopers were willing to vote to preserve Obamacare. Resistance won again.

    We have no president. We have a world class jackass being led by his nose, who gets uglier every every damn day, along with the dregs of humanity surrounding him. Bannon and Miller are driving this train wreck. We do live in interesting times. May we survive it and sooner get to work cleaning out the Aegean stables. We face a Herculean task, together. #YesWeCan ❤️

    Mom had chest pains and sky high blood pressure over the weekend, so we took her to the hospital. They did a bunch of tests to rule out a heart issue and kept her for two and a half days. No conclusion as to the cause, but she’s ok now, which is everything. I just took her to get her hair done. Life is good.
