“Funny” how Republicans thought that he was within his rights to have a weapon when THIS happened. Now…he’s a radical LW loon. Can’t have it both ways.

Tillerson asks for “flexibility” in Russian sanctions http://hill.cm/v8qQk4y
Putin has failed to carry out the Minsk agreement. Putin has not pulled out of Ukraine and Crimea. Lifting sanctions on EXXON-ROSNEFT
won’t influence Putin one iota. U.S. Treasury told Drillerson NO recently after he tried to get special exemption for Exxon drilling despite U.S. sanctions. Trumputin and Drillerson are already having “dialogues’ with Putin but they want more F-f-f-f-“”flexibility””.
Rexxon and longtime buddy Putin think this a good moment to slide their #1 Big Oil agenda by stupified Americans.

    Hey Tillerson:
What’s Klepto-billionaire Putin done for anybody besides himself? Russia’s economy is smaller than Italy’s and people suffer cruelly.
Putin hacks the United States and European elections – so we lift sanctions on EXXONROSNEFT and make him $trillions to pollute
the planet, release megatons of methane, speed up melting of the poles, position him to run the planet with his pals?

    http://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/gop-health-care-law-could-cost-nearly-1-million-jobs-n772406

The American Health Care Act, the GOP’s answer to Obamacare, could end up costing the U.S. economy close to 1 million jobs, researchers predicted Wednesday.

The bill, if passed as written by the House of Representatives, would start out boosting jobs and increasing economic output because it would cut taxes, the team at George Washington and The Commonwealth Fund found.

But that would change fast, the experts forecast.

“The AHCA would initially cause a brief spurt of economic growth from tax cuts, which primarily help those with high incomes,” said Leighton Ku, director of the Center for Health Policy Research at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at GW, who led the study team.

“However, cuts in funding for Medicaid and health subsidies then begin to deepen, triggering sharp job losses and broad disruption of state economies in the following years,” Ku added.

“Within a decade, almost a million fewer people would have jobs. The downturn would hit the health care sector and states that expanded Medicaid the hardest.”

Duh! Health care was a job leader throughout. I always wanted PBO to talk about it as a jobs creator more than he did. Imagine – an industry where the product is healthy Americans. But no, sociopathic GOP can’t let us have decent lives. Despicable.

Hope that there will not be any crime or any other kind of emergency in DC and the surrounding area when congress members play their little ballgame because they are going to have all safety and security personnel surrounding them to save them from the results of their legislative misdeeds. Another FU to everyone else.

Trumputin was working on lifting Russian sanctions even BEFORE and as well as AFTER he took office.
Secretary of State Tillerson is implicated in the investigation into 4 decades of EXXON Climate Change cover-up and disinformation.
New York AG Schneiderman says he has evidence “that Exxon used one set of numbers in describing risks to investors but used a secret
set internally”. Says TILLERSON approved of “what may be a sham”.

I hope Democrats keep pushing for gun control and ignore the noise surrounding today’s tragic shooting in Alexandria, Virginia. The shooter should never have had access to a gun in the first place given his violent history. Our laws need to limit gun ownership based on sensible objective criteria such as domestic violence or mental instability.

GOPers will try to make him and PBO the blame for not sounding the alarm about the Russian hacking, but I expect JJ to tell about McConnell’s response and other reasons that kept them from doing so. I also expect them to come at him with nasty, condescending tones because he is Black. However, he is a smart, proud man who knows his shit (everyone who worked with PBO does) and will not allow himself or his boss to be railroaded in any way.

We pay hundreds of billions of our tax money for law enforcement officials on the local, state and federal levels. And we pay almost trillions for the military, Exactly why do private citizens need all these guns?

  34. June 14, 2017 at 6:52 pm

A federal judge ruled Wednesday that the environmental review for the Dakota Access pipeline was inadequate in part and must be reconsidered, handing tribal opponents of the 1,170-mile pipeline project a legal victory.

But U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg did not order pipeline operators to stop the oil that is already flowing through the project, saying he would need to consider that request more thoroughly.
