Comey’s response to Sen Feinstein’s question about why he didn’t tell anyone at DOJ. I think Comey is full of shit on this question.

Hey Luvvie how is James Come a “fuck boy”.
Fuck off and take a walk yourself.

      • June 8, 2017 at 2:55 pm

Wow, can we stay polite with others here? Thank you.

        • June 8, 2017 at 3:45 pm

How about when Luvvie calls u a ‘fuck boy”.
After you are fired for keeping your integrity as U.S. FBI Director. It’s OK?

          • June 8, 2017 at 3:58 pm

I was taking issue with the “fuck off”. I believe in replyng to something that offends us in a way that does not add another insult. Which is also why I didn´t add strong language in my own post.

            • June 8, 2017 at 4:15 pm

TOD is no stranger to the word fuck. Yes I usually change it into something more polite.
This particular response was in kind to Luvvie – who has not been canonized yet.

              • June 8, 2017 at 4:24 pm

I am aware that cursing happens here and I am fine with this. I just found your response unnecessarily harsh. Sorry for that, no passive aggressiveness needed really. I am aware emotions fly high with politics but we can keep it civil on here amongst each other at least and I personally think if one takes issue with a tweet it´s possible to address this in a more polite way. That´s all I am going to say.

              • June 8, 2017 at 5:20 pm

the aggressive tone of my comment matched Luvvie’s.
sorry that we met in the process.

I think Luvvie’s remembering to hold Comey responsible for re-introducing Hillary’s e-mail issue into the election and helping sway a few voters away from her.

              • June 9, 2017 at 1:20 am

Sandy we know how GOP lies and we must stick together. Comey wasn’t the guilty one at this difficult hearing which he handled brilliantly. We want Trumputin and his little dogs OUT. What Luvvie said was abusive and unhelpful. This is not the moment for her to play nasty
and divisive. And yes I said so.

Kamala Harris put the GOP great “I hope” attempt into the can with a big Clank. Trumputin’s INTENT is and was clearly on display.
It was Trump’s INTENT to kibosh the Flynn investigation by intimidating James Comey.
Trumputin affixing “I Hope” to his demand posing as a request was manipulation and pressure by a sitting President.

      • June 8, 2017 at 1:48 pm

I agree with you, Sue! All the people he sent out of the room already knew what Trump intended to with Comey. Session probably advised Trump about what to say to Comey, using the word “hope”, instead of words like “direct” or “command, and still achieve the same result: shutting down the investigation about the Trump-Russia collusion in interfering with the 2016 election.

Did John McCain go to the bar before he came to the hearing he sounds like the drunk guy giving a eulogy at a wedding send his arse home he is cleverly trying to confuse the base to make them think they are questioning Trump and not Hillary no wonder their base are so faithful they make confused bullshit look so reasonable

John McCain needs to resign!!! He was totally confused. He could not distinguish the difference between
the Clinton investigation and the Trump Russia investigation. There is something definitely wrong with him.
It was embarrassing for Arizona and the country as a whole.

    • June 8, 2017 at 1:12 pm

I was listening to the hearing on the radio so could not see who was asking the questions. But what I noted was that the person was confused that Comey say that they had concluded the email investigation and that no charges would be brought against Clinton was synonymous in saying that no charges would be brought against her or members of her campaign related to the Russia investigation.

I don’t understand why Comey did not say that these are two different investigations.

      • June 8, 2017 at 1:17 pm

He did say it was two different investigations and that Clinton’s investigation was closed in July.
However McCain did not understand this explanation and kept repeating his confused question
which is very concerning to say the least.

        • June 8, 2017 at 1:48 pm

That *is* concerning, HOPE44. They, better than anyone knows that those were two separate investigations. Just wondering whether his line of questioning was because of *his* confusion or if it was a deliberate act targeting 45’s base to make them think that there was a double standard being applied (i.e., 45 is being treated unfairly).

          • June 8, 2017 at 4:06 pm

The people that MATTER understand very well… This was the GOP coordinated distraction, and McCain was just the worst at it. ALL the GOP tried it – to attempt to obfuscate this into being about Clinton, when it has ZERO to do with her or her campaign. Just so fucking sad that the entire Congressional GOP/Trump Admin care more about HOLING ON TO POWER & COVERING THEIR ASSES than the actual Constitution, LAW, or the USA itself.

      This Senate Rule 14…
trying to understand what it means…

      14. No Senate bill, other than a Senate supplementary appropriation bill, and no Senate joint resolution shall be introduced in the Senate after the forty-first day of a regular session unless permission to introduce the bill or the joint resolution be given by a Senate resolution, setting out the title to the bill or the joint resolution and adopted by a two-thirds vote of the Senate members present. When permission is requested to introduce a bill or joint resolution under the provisions of this rule, quadruplicate copies of the bill or the joint resolution shall accompany the resolution when introduced.
A standing committee of the Senate may originate a bill or resolution and report the same after the forty-first day.
The forty-first day of the regular session held in the year one thousand nine hundred seventy-seven and every fourth year thereafter shall be computed from and include the second Wednesday of February of such years.

I have serious concerns that Rubio and Cotton had dinner with Trump on Tues, they should be questioned regarding same. Republicans trying to divert hearing about Hillary sound like they belong to McCain’s gang.

    • June 8, 2017 at 1:42 pm

Agree Anna. Those 2 weasels having dinner with Trumputin highlights and supports Comey’s testimony.
Terrible idea for Rubio and Cotton to have dinner with Trumputin before this Hearing in which they questioned Comey.
It feeds into the narrative about Donald’s demands for loyalty – or You’re Fired! And his self-centered utter disregard for protocols.
His habit of coercion is looking worse and worse…

I am not buying this. Trump did what he did because he was rewarding Saudi Arabia for treating him like a King. He dissed NATO and the European Union, because he received no “Royal” adulation from European leaders.

    Check this out

A former federal prosecutor sends in this note.

May 9, 2017: CNN reports that grand jury subpoenas have been issued in Flynn investigation.

May 9, 2017: Trump fires Comey.

Did Trump find out about the subpoenas and continued investigation before the decision to fire Comey? This could be a key fact for Mueller’s team to determine. If Trump was telling Comey to let Flynn go and then he finds out that, rather than letting him go, subpoenas start flying, that would be compelling evidence of intent to obstruct. Mueller will have to dig into internal White House communications (emails, texts, meetings) about what Trump knew about the Flynn investigation, when he knew it, and what he was saying about it to those in his orbit. Given what he was saying to Comey, you would have to imagine that he was saying a lot more to his inner circle.

    I need a nap
