All those that say that firing Comey will not compromise the Russian probe at the FBI, what will make you admit that it does? When the investigation is closed? When documents are destroyed? Oh, right. GOP is already obstructing the investigation so they won’t care.
I’m completely stunned, but deep siren not shocked. A Watergate moment indeed. But back then I don’t think I was actually worried for or Democracy, because not every single GOP was on board with Nixon. Who is there to stand up to this?

Reports yesterday indicated that Comey was in 2 different court proceedings & her needed to fly from one to another.

Just saw on the msn newsfeed that 45 will be releasing video/audio of Hillary’s concession call. Has anyone else seen this from another source? Someone who truly believes that he has a won fair and square and that he has a mandate (not!) would not need to keep mentioning that he has done so. He is a rat in a trap and he is running around frantically trying to get out of it. I guess the next move will be a rally and another attempt at having some day to commemorate his doubtful win.
Putin has succeeded beyond his wildest dreams; all of our democratic systems are under fire and strain and all it took was using the internet and a greedy businessman. This country was ripe for this coup because we have millions who are fat, lazy, satisfied and willfully blind and others still fighting the Civil War. We have not dealt with our own shit and as a whole we lack the type of sophistication needed to build and to sustain a nation that has so many misused resources, the major one of which is our own citizens.
As an A-A woman of a certain age who has lived her entire life in the South, I am not shocked or even dismayed at how far white men will go to get and to hold power for the betterment of their small family/tribe; anyone and any nation that has built itself on the foundations of genocide and slavery is capable of anything. Who we are as a nation has always been clear, but so many refused to see it. Anyone with even only a general knowledge of the 500 years of history of European contact and colonization of this continent should not be surprised that we are where we are today.
