Just finished watching this on another feed and lost it as he was ending with final remarks for the questions from children. Glad to see it here. Our PBO knows so much about the connectedness of food, climate, economics, culture and policy and all of it is underpinned with caring and decency.
The 7 year old twins ended their question, which was written and shown on screen, with “we love you.”

Hi TOD family, Just to clarify in my brain..knowing what we know now. Did VP Pence lie when he stated that Flynn did not discuss sanctions with the Russians? Since that event happened after Sally Yates informed the WH that Flynn could be compromised by the Russians (and was Pence there when Yates discussed this with the WH? The reason Flynn was fired according to the WH is because he lied to Pence. The web of deception is hard to follow and I know you guys are on top of it.
Pence already knew. The meme that he was “lied to” is false. A lie.

I’ve been saying the same from the start. I find it hard to believe that *anyone* in 45’s close WH circle did not know what was going on. Pence may not have immediately known about Yates’ warning(s) at the time it was given (which I also don’t believe given there was more than one communication), but that does not mean he did not know what Flynn was doing.
So whatever Flynn may have said, when Pence was going around all the Sunday shows denying Flynn’s actions, I believehe was being deceptive.

PBO warned Trump less than 48 hours after the Inauguration. Pence is the Vice-President and next in line for this information.
Pence knows everything. Don’t forget that he ran the transition hiring, so he was in charge of vetting. And also don’t forget that Rep. Cummings sent him a letter about Flynn in NOVEMBER. So I don’t buy any of this “Pence is an innocent good guy” BS.
The GOP would like to keep running with that line because Pence is their backup plan for the presidency…they’re biding their time to push 45 out. Problem is, 45 will not go quietly; a lot of them will be going down with him, including Pence.

The “Christian Alt-Right” movement here in the US, also called “Christian Dominists”, of which Pence is a part of, have a plan to control all levels of government. They have organized groups everywhere in the US to groom people to take office, and to have one of their own be president of the US, and control of the House and Senate, is their ultimate goal. Pence is part of that.

I am thinking about one gauge of the success or failure of a presidency: What happens after the term is over. GWB had to go into hiding for years. He painted, he designed his monument, but he was not invited to participate on the world scene. He was persona non grata. People just didn’t want him around. ON THE OTHER HAND: PBO is, on his timing, once again on the world and national scene, in demand for speeches and appearances, given the wonderful award Sunday night, and greeted with love and appreciation everywhere he goes. I know this fries djt’s brain, and it is wonderful to see. He will never be able to hide PBO’s accomplishments, or make people dislike him. djt sees everything as a contest, and he is losing, BIGLY!!!

Furthermore, the thousands with whom he has interacted over his career whose stories are told over and over to the people they know, the hundreds of thousands who are now stepping up in defense of the policies and ideas and ideals that he espoused, and the millions world-wide who have been a witness to his presidency, all of these things are his legacy. There are too many witnesses to his greatness for it to be snuffed out by books written by people/enemies who were on the outside and a complicit media that is still doing all it can to erase him. The more that they try to decrease him the more that he will increase.
