How can the money be a bribe for the Obamas if they have no future in public office?
But when you dig deeper to the root of the criticism, you start to see some ugly truths about the far left and race in America. You start to see why Sanders’ movement was overwhelmingly white and struggled mightily to get the support of the people of color they needed to have any chance at winning the primary. There is a major disconnect between Sanders and his followers and the majority of Black voters in this country, and the latest spat with Obama is just the most recent indication of that.
But will United Airlines give us more leg room? Last time I traveled on that airline we all lost our booked aisle seats to a couple of sports teams, both male and female. Indeed, CEB! I feel so blessed to have been alive during the Obama presidency. I was born about 6 months after FDR passed away. Technically, (from Truman to Tump), I’ve lived under 13 presidents. As far as i am concerned, President Obama is the best President in my lifetime.

Since it’s Florida in 2017, this apology is almost unbelievable, but a long time coming. Coincidentally, my friend who lives there told me she had just gotten the book “Devil in the Grove,” at the same time she heard about the Florida State Senate’s action, and said it is riveting – including those parts about Thurgood Marshall’s involvement in the case, as an NAACP lawyer. I plan to get the book.

I awake to be – yet again – disgusted at the continuing attacks on PBO – while those who are going to cause WWIII are treated so so with respect by the media. I hope he makes millions and millions and upsets every last media person and politician while doing it. Meanwhile the rump and his family do it while in office and the media applauds.
Seems as there is no other way for him to be important the lunatic in chief is talking up war with NK. I wonder each evening if there will be a world to waken to in the morning.

The good part (if there is anything good about it) is that the haters are so freakin’ jealous of President Obama, they see red and get pains in their stomachs every single time he does something successful. Even though it’s annoying as hell and makes us all continue to be bitter, there’s a certain poetic justice in their continuing angst and the fact that President Obama goes high every time.
I simply love the way he enjoys every day of his life, and I credit his mother!
I wish President Obama would charge no less than $1,000,000 per speech. When he was preaching for free, telling what we needed to hear, some folks didn’t listen. Now, if he charges 1 million dollars, folks will pay and listen.

Does that also mean that legislators should not pursue or accept lucrative positions that they attain by virtue of their government experience and connections? Positions that are typically as lobbyists that push for legislation that ultimately *does* tend to hurt the poor and working class.
President Obama is a brilliant orator and a fantastic motivational speaker. Are these people saying that he can’t earn a living from his talent? Not to mention that he and Michelle continue to reach down/back to pull others up/forward. Plus the fact that they invest heavily — with both their finances and time — in young people.

Every Republican member of Congress is either being blackmailed by the Russians, or has been bought by them ($500BILLION Exxon/Rosneft deal can go a long way…) There’s no other explanation for their inaction on #TrumpRussia. Being blackmailed would be the less evil of the two.
If you haven’t been watching Rachel since the election, you’ve missed out on some amazing journalism. She’s been beyond rabid on Russia, more so than anyone else. She did a huge bit of reporting on the Azerbaijan Trump Tower money laundering scandal (Newsweek), and more of the Russian oligarchs and their global money laundering business, like buying Trump’s Florida home for $50mil more than it was worth, never setting foot in it, then having it demolished….
She’s also brought some attention to Trump’s Inaugural. His obsession with it being the biggest ever….. and why he and Miss Spicey cling to that lie…. seems the Trump Inaugural Committee raised a record amount of money – an absurd amount…. seriously… watch it.
Part of my brain keeps trying to hope this is all an elaborate sting operation to take down FIFA and Putin with them…. where multiple countries are in on it, because soccer is the one thing that unites the planet, and it was our AG Lynch who pulled the first thumb out of the dyke and started a flood…. and in the end Donny & Kim turn out to be the heroes for playing their parts so terrifyingly well… if ONLY that were true, since what’s actually happening is having a hard time fitting into my brain.
