He must go down. No way that a President under investigation for treason should have the right to fill a vacant SCOTUS seat. Plus, keep in mind that this seat wouldn’t be vacant if President Obama’s pick (Garland) had been treated fairly by the GOP.
I bet if the GOP would put up Merritt Garland for SCOTUS next instead of Gorsuch they could win back some good faith with their opposition Dems for some future legislation.
I consider myself and at least lean toward being a tender-hearted person. Ha! All bets are off with the Trump crowd! Whenever I see one of ’em on the telly, my old New Jersey roots rush out, and the first thought I have is what physical steps I would take to get THIS ONE outta my face. Ha! Yes, one of my SIL’s calls it her ‘Jersey Girl’, best to not rouse it up! With that, I feel I am a very compassionate person, who strives to understand what motivates others. But this lot, uhuh. They deserve no plea-bargain, no bail, no parole, in fact, they may be very lucky I am not the judge because from me the sentencing will fit the crime: life in prison, solitary for minimum 6-15 months from the first day of incarceration, no visitors, no mail, no internet, phone, television, no twitter. But as I am a kind and caring person (66 yo, disabled, single parent, slowly starving to death), I will offer one choice to these types: they may voluntarily choose the gas chamber, the electric chair, death by chemical overdose, or for the really patriotic, perhaps they would prefer the firing squad as newly passed into law ffs down in good mississippiippiippiippiippi .
