Congrats to COS, Au ⭐ becomes you 😉
    Thanks to NW, TOD Rocks!
I am not usually a fan of Award Shows. I did watch the Oscar last year, intermittently. This year, I watched it. Wow, it got confused towards the end.

      GA AT2.

Saw a tweet last week (could have been the week before, though) that said Melania is keeping the WH garden, with a gracious nod to our #ForeverFLOTUS.

First thing that hasn’t been an unending horror from this Adm.

There was a 2 million dollar bequest (not from taxes) to pay for the Parks dept. upkeep and below the pergola at the entrance of the garden is a stone marker with her name etc. Melania has also indicated that the garden would remain. It would be a public relations nightmare if they try to plow it underground. Much of the produce goes to area soup kitchens and other charities.

45 has shown that public relations nightmares where he’s the star are just good fun for him. I agree that people would be appalled, but I think what’s really saving the garden is some killer-smart maneuvering by the Obamas, to protect the garden and all it represents.

All these sore-loser-Bernie-bots need to stop complaining and run their own damned candidates as independents. They don’t like Corp money…good, then run independents with little $27 contributions and see how that works. Build your own party from the ground up.

In one of the first major business deals concluded since Donald Trump became president, a Chinese businesswoman just closed on the purchase of $15.8 million condo owned by Trump’s real estate business.

While Trump is not on the board, he is still a principal of the LLC.

Chen is the founder and managing director of a business consulting firm called Global Alliance Associates which sells itself as a go-between, connecting wealthy business people with Chinese interests to develop new business ventures in her home country.

A House Democratic lawmaker attempted Monday to force a House floor vote on a resolution to request President Trump’s tax returns, but the effort failed on a party-line vote, 229-185, with two Republicans voting “present.”

Hey friends, I am lurking as I can. Am at our daughter’s and will be here for almost 3 weeks. We are very busy………getting ready for a big garage sale this weekend among other things.

If any of you watch The Voice (NBC right now), a young man, Chris Blue, will be on. He is part of the praise and worship team at our church. He has actually been in all the promos for this season. 🙂 I’ve never been ‘into’ most of the reality shows, but this is a bit different. He is a fine Christian–in the truest sense of that word–young man. Not bad on the eyes either. 🙂 🙂

I am getting petty joy out of the fact that 45 is not having fun. He is living in a home that is not his and that he feels does not live up to his standards, all of the “best people” that he said he would have attract have not appeared, he is isolated from the show business community that he spent more than 30 years courting (I remember him appearing in a stupid skit on He Haw), he is denied a triumphant appearance at the WHCD because of his fear of facing those that he has criticized, our closest ally votes to deny him the pomp and circumstance of a State Visit, a million plus women and their male allies gave him a big FU protest that far outnumbered his piss poor inauguration, he is finding the job is much harder than he thought and he is learning the limits of presidential power. There are more than 55 lawsuits pending against him and a large part of the country mobilized against, his wrecking crew, and the cowardly, weak ass mofo republican members of congress. He is lampooned daily and no one of any stature is coming to his defense. His every move has been countered so far, by those pesky laws, rules, and regulations. The media that let him say anything he wanted to,unchecked, since 2011 are now calling out his lies. This man, who for almost 50 years turned his name into a brand, is now a fat unhealthy joke, sitting up late at night watching TV alone, tweeting, and trying to stay relevant. In less than 2 months, he has become, not the power that he thought he would be, with an adoring public cheering him and welcoming him everywhere, but someone who is merely the vehicle for men much more wealthy than he and their allies in congress, someone they can use to sign things that he does not understand and will be blamed for when they fail. The worst thing that could have happened to him and his vision of himself is to become president of the USA. Meanwhile, Hillary is smiling and living her life out loud and PBO is the president that even foreign countries want; still popular, good looking, and more importantly, free to live his life as he chooses with his smart, beautiful, one and only wife (because he got it right the first time). Karma is a Bitch!

Small group gatherings in a few places around the country do not equal the “massive” crowds that were predicted. Many of those wo voted for him obviously do not want others to know. It’s like the hook-up from the night before that you want to pretend you do not know in the light of day.

knee jerk solutions are not the answer. Dems needs to concentrate on 50 to 60 flippable seats in swing districts.

    • February 27, 2017 at 9:44 pm

I had to change my email last year and the blog treated me like a new person. That means that you can’t really post until NW frees you from spam and approves your “membership.” If you see her on here, you might want to give her a warning. Or DM her on twitter.

          Makes my blood boil.

I will never understand what kind of people wake up in the morning and decide to go after “other tribes.” What did anyone at the JCC or those buried in Jewish cemeteries ever do to these haters? How do they make up their minds who to hate?

          • February 27, 2017 at 10:14 pm

YES, all of that plus the fact that these JCCs have child care centers for small children. Truly sickening.

Shades of the Oklahoma City bombing – many children in child care centers affected that day. Not to mention all the other incidents. Everything from this point on s/b categorized as coming from Trump’s Terrorists, as you stated.

    • February 28, 2017 at 8:01 am

Will 45 ever acknowledge that there is domestic terrorism in this country? Whether or not he will admit that he is the impetus behind these attacks — that his rhetoric is the motivation; his refusal to condemn this activity in essence gives approval — he should be attacking the domestic terrorism as hard as he claims to be going after terrorism initiating outside the country.

Of course, the attacks fall into his distraction MO. In his narcissistic mind, it also serves as a show of loyalty to him. The “I can’t control what people who say they’re my supporters choose to do” will be his alibi.
