Very interesting to see what has happened with TX. After that huge surge in early voting the first week, it ended yesterday DOWN from 2012! And registration numbers have increased. The final EV total is just under 4.5 mil versus 2012 EV total of just under 5.2mil. So despite the huge push for early voting, the final is around 700,000 fewer early votes. I’m wondering if the lack of enthusiasm here is coming from Republicans in this Cruz state. If so, may end up with a good result for the Dems on Tuesday. Very strange.

So Nate Silver is cooking his own books to make the election seem like more of a horse race, if not an outright Clinton loss. Ummm.
Nate Silver is an outlier on the predictions. He’s trying to keep it close to up his ratings and maintain support among RWers.
I would add, Silver is totally ignoring the early vote explosion as a factor in prediction. Stupid.
All the other predictions people have the Clinton victory % in the 90s and 80s, most especially Sam Wang who has it >99%.
