IMO, for most people, Hillary Clinton + email equates to background noise that is heard so much that little to no attention is paid to it. The media is reckless in trying to make this a story; basically doubling down rather than retracting it.

Looked up Suffolk University in Boston, and it’s a private college, so doubt if public outrage can do much for this student.
Not making excuses for the prof, but in the Internet age It’s got to be tough for profs to weed out plagiarism (“cut and paste”) from actual independent thought by a student.

In this age of short-cuts and “work smarter not harder,” I get the problems professors may have regarding plagiarism.
To me, it didn’t seem so much about accusations of plagiarism as the perception that because she is Latina, “hence” is not a word she would use…thus, the question of whether the professor is biased and will the student get a fair shot in this class. A different POV.

I wish Dems should focus on the GOP & media collusion in manipulating the news cycles for maximum advantage with the voters …even if it means releasing classified information;
more focus should also be placed on the way the gop is using our money to conduct politically motivated investigation.
this is where the greater problem is;
if Dems ignore it and focus on public servants who may be doing their jobs under a barrage of these requests to investigate, then we are giving the gop a blank check to continue this manufacturing of fake scandals using our money & time
it may not be popular to say this but I think we should hold off attacking the FBI director until we learn whether or not he followed the procedure that was expected of him.
can you imagine raucous if he did not follow the steps that were expected of him and then it was later discovered by the vengeful gop during their perpetual investigations?
I will focus my anger on :
– the gop who run with the story, lied about it and then started fundraising of it;
– the lazy media that did not use their internal legal departments to check the story and instead rushed to “break” it using gop talking points … as usual;
The speech he gave when NOT prosecuting Hillary Clinton was more than enough to show he was NOT following procedure. When the FBI decides to NOT prosecute it is said in one sentence. He is trying to elect Trump – presumably because the is no way, no how, Pres Clinton will give him the time of day when she is elected.
And – I forgot to add – I hope she opens a Dept Justice enquiry into the FBI director the day she starts in the job – or even better PBO could initiate that after the election.
I hope POTUS could use its Executive Power and move November to… tomorrow.

Early voted in MD this morning (day 2 of early voting) & was so happy see a long line at that time! Lots of excited folks, young, old, everything! The line moved quickly. Took me 25 mins from way back of the line to casting ballot! I’d wager all lining up were Dems! đ

I was “anxious” (not really!) to hear how CBS would characterize this latest hulabulu. Well, didn’t disappoint. Scott P. began with saying the emails were from “Clinton’s private server.” Then he continued with the “hair on fire” reporting. But, later in the broadcast, one of the reporters did another story on this and he said, “The emails were found on a laptop belonging to Anthony Weiner.” Do these folks not realize how stupid they look and sound?!
I agree with whoever said wish Comey could be fired. It is a 10 year appointment. I sure hope PO calls him in and does what he does so well. Straightens him out real good, but do it with a smile on his face. I will be surprised if he doesn’t get some kind of “call on the carpet” from this President. BO does not suffer fools and sure he doesn’t look kindly on this stunt, not in THIS election season.

The problem with a scorched earth policy is that when you have burned everything down there is nothing left to sustain the victors. This is why they have the carnival barker and a party that is imploding. They have done everything, said anything, and ransomed their souls in their quest for power for power’s sake. I am proud that PBO and all of those around him did not fall to the temptation of tit-for-tat and focused on serving the country; this has served them, us, and the world well. HRC will continue to hold her head up and march on to the prize. It is more than time out for hair-on-fire and distractions; GOTV is our mission.
