What Trump doesn’t get is, well, EVERYTHING …. and he makes that inescapable to anyone with even the slightest ability to behave rationally ….

Hillary Clinton is running for President, not her unfaithful husband. She had the strength of character to sustain her family.

Trump hasn’t sustained anything other than greed, hatred, and grossly immoral behavior his entire stinking life.

While certain retailers are going to open even earlier on Thanksgiving this year, other stores are taking the day off entirely. Even more surprising, some stores will close their doors on Black Friday, opting to allow their employees and customers to enjoy the holiday weekend with their friends and families.

Towards the end of September, we were the first website to report that GameStop, Home Depot, Lowes, Costco, BJ’s, Nordstrom, Jo-Ann, and Patagonia would be closed on Thanksgiving. Since that report, we have confirmed over 40 additional closures.

Please see our ongoing list of Thanksgiving and Black Friday 2016 closures below.

Thank you Arapaho, I love the kitties. I trapped two kittens last night and they are on their way to be spayed & neutered then returned to be with there group. No more kittens born so they can live out their lives in the backyard of some very kind people who although do not own them but are happy to feed them.

Donald Trump’s D.C. Hotel Shows His Brand Is Sinking Along With His Poll Numbers

It’s now pretty clear that Donald Trump has been using his presidential campaign to promote his various business ventures. Remember when he touted his Turnberry, Scotland, golf course as a beneficiary of Great Britain’s exit from the European Union this summer? But if Trump hoped his campaign would elevate the value of his brand, it looks like just the opposite is happening.

Trump’s biggest disaster of the campaign — the revelations of a lewd tape in which he boasted about sexually accosting women — has led critics to throw more shade on his businesses. Fellow celebrity-billionaire Mark Cuban tweeted this on Friday night:

Haha! It will be Pres Hillary Clinton. From the article:

[…..] Largely overlooked in the hoopla is that the GSA’s deal with Trump also presents conflicts of interests, should he overcome his current deficit in the polls and win on November 8. If Trump International has trouble making good on the lease, as rival hotel companies warned, the government would be left negotiating with the president for a solution. […..]

Most of us in this country will needed a physic healing after this so-called election season is over. As much as I have tried to avoid the worst of what this season has offered, I feel battered and bruised; anxious and angry. I have to fight back vengeful thoughts by reminding myself that there is a righteous uprising against the revealed ugliness of the GOP, the media, and their awful standard-bearer that will repudiate all of this hate, greed, racism, and misogyny within the next few weeks. We will need respected and skilled voices to lead us out of all of this negativity, to help us to move forward and not spend time on retribution. We will need to watch our young men carefully to help them expunge any bullying, predatory tendencies that some may have begun to exhibit. Women, the saviors of our republic, will need to be ready for added persecution. If we win, the ugly will not slither back under the rocks; they have had a taste and they will want more. Our coalition must be strong and steady determined not to turn back to these evil days an times, but to continue the fight for true and lasting equality and for a country that is truly the “land of the free.”

CEB, I so agree about the need for healing after this election. Trump and his minions have released so much toxic gas into our environment that it is really sickening people emotionally and mentally. My hope is that this is the beginning of a great catharsis among American women, many of whom have experienced fear and suffered humiliation at the hands of male bullies and predators throughout their lives. If we work together, we will not only elect the first female President in our history, we will unleash a period of liberation for girls and women across the world.

    Important read

As consumers of the news, we all have a role to play in this. You’ll notice that I have chosen to not write about the Podesta emails as a story in themselves. To apply Greenwald’s test: leaking them was a clear invasion of privacy that was not outweighed by anything significant in the public interest. Our collective power to respond to those questions comes in the form of what we chose to click/watch/read combined with a trip to the polling booth in a few weeks. Over the long haul, we need to have a lot more conversation about this

Like that woman shouted out, “Preach, First lady!” She spoke to all of our fears and lifted us up to know that we are not powerless. She felts what she said so deeply as she spoke of what too many of us have experienced. She is like that angel with the flaming sword of truth and righteousness. I love how she only referred to the sleaze ball as the” opponent” or other candidate. She is amazing; the Closer, indeed.
